Letter to the Ephesians 3,2-3a.5-6.
Brothers and sisters: You have heard of the stewardship of God's grace that was given to me for your benefit,
(namely, that) the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly earlier.
which was not made known to human beings in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,
that the Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and copartners in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

Blessed Jan van Ruysbroeck – ‘THE BOOK OF SUPREME TRUTH’ – Chapter V-VII; ‘OF THE UNION WITHOUT MEANS…’; pages 121-122

[BLESSED JAN VAN RUYSBROEK – XIII-XIV Century AD; Ruisbroek, Holy Roman Empire/ Groenendael, Holy Roman Empire; aged 87-88, Mystic, Spiritual Writer, Doctor Divinus Ecstaticus]
“Chapter V ~ OF THE UNION WITHOUT MEANS
YOU may remember that I showed heretofore how all saints and all good men are united with God through means. Now I will further show to you how they are all united with God without means. But in this life there are but few who are meet for this, and sufficiently enlightened to feel and understand it. And therefore, whosoever wishes to find and to feel within himself those three unions of which I am going to speak, he must live entirely and wholly in God, so that he may satisfy and be amenable to the grace and the stirring of God, in all virtues and inward exercises. And he must be lifted up through love, and die in God to himself and all his works; so that he yields himself up with all his powers, and submits to the transformation through the incomprehensible Truth which …More

"When a man feels God within himself with rich and full grace, this I call heavenly health; for then he is wise and clear of understanding, rich and outflowing with heavenly teachings, ardent and generous in charity, drunken and overflowing with joy, strong in feeling, bold and ever ready in all the things which he knows to be well pleasing to God; and such-like things without number, which may only be known by those who feel them. But when the scale of love goes down, and God hides Himself with all His graces, then the man falls back into dereliction and torment and dark misery, as though he should never more recover: and then he feels himself to be nought else but a poor sinner, who knows little or nothing of God. He scorns every consolation that creatures may give him; and the taste and consolation of God he does not receive. And then his reason says within him: WHERE IS NOW THY GOD?"

Pope Leo Encourages Young People to Be Open to God’s Call | Shalom World News
In a video message sent to participants of the annual SEEK Youth Conference in the United States, Pope Leo XIV has encouraged them to listen fearlessly to God’s call, whether to the priesthood, religious life, or marriage and family life. He also invited young people to spend time with Jesus and to remain open to “what the Lord has in store.” The five-day conference, organized by the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, brings together Catholics for prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, the sacraments, and talks by inspiring speakers. Now in its 26th year, the conference is being held from January 1–5 in Columbus, Ohio, Denver, Colorado, and Fort Worth, Texas.

Is “The Little Drummer Boy” a Catholic Story? Humble Worship Explained
The Christmas song The Little Drummer Boy is often misunderstood as a biblical account, but its deeper meaning is firmly rooted in Christian—especially Catholic—spiritual tradition rather than Scripture itself. Although the story of a young boy visiting the infant Jesus with only a drum does not appear in the Bible, the song reflects a long-standing theme found in European Catholic folklore: offering God what little we have, with sincerity and love. This idea echoes the Gospel spirit of humility, poverty of heart, and childlike trust—virtues consistently emphasised in Catholic spirituality. The song’s message mirrors the offerings of the shepherds, the widow’s mite, and the countless unnamed faithful who approach Christ not with riches, but with honest devotion. The drummer boy’s gift is not impressive by worldly standards, yet it becomes beautiful because it is freely given. In Catholic thought, this reflects …More

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 2,1-12.
breski1
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem,
saying, "Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage."
When King Herod heard this, he was greatly troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
Assembling all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born.
They said to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it has been written through the prophet:
'And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; since from you shall come a ruler, who is to shepherd my people Israel.'"
Then Herod called the magi secretly and ascertained from them the time of the star's appearance.
He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and search diligently for the child. When you have found him, bring me word, that I too may go and do him homage." …

Pope Saint Anterus | The Short-Reigning Pope Who Honoured the Martyrs | Saint Story for Kids
Pope Saint Anterus served as Pope for only a brief time in 235–236 AD, yet his legacy remains deeply significant in the history of the early Church. Though his pontificate lasted just over a month, Pope Saint Anterus is remembered for his devotion to the martyrs and his care for the Church during a period of intense persecution under the Roman Empire. According to early Christian sources, Pope Anterus worked to preserve the Acts of the Martyrs, ensuring that the testimonies of those who gave their lives for Christ were carefully recorded and honoured by the Christian community. This act of remembrance strengthened the faith of believers and preserved the heroic witness of the early Church for future generations. Tradition holds that Pope Saint Anterus himself died as a martyr, likely as a result of renewed imperial hostility toward Christians. He was buried in the Catacomb of Callixtus along …More

'The Revelations of Saint Bridget of Sweden'; ‘The Mother blesses the Son…’; Book I; Chapter 51

[Saint Bridget of Sweden/ Heliga Birgitta; XIV Century AD: aged 69-70; Uppland, Sweden/Rome, Papal States; Widow, Mystic; Spiritual Writer; Founder; Patroness of Europe]
“Chapter 51 ~ The Mother blesses the Son in the hearing of the bride, and about how the glorious Son makes a wonderful comparison of his most sweet Mother to a flower that grew in a valley but rose up over mountains.
The Mother of God spoke to her Son and said: “Blessed be your name, my Son Jesus Christ, and all honor to your Manhood above all that is created! Glory to your Divinity above all good things, which are one God with your Manhood!” The Son answered: “My Mother, you are like a flower that grew in a valley. Around the valley there were five high mountains, and the flower grew out of three roots with a straight stem without any knots. This flower had five leaves that were filled with all sweetness. The valley with its flower grew above these five mountains, and the leaves of the flower spread themselves above …More

Book of Isaiah 60,1-6.
Rise up in splendor, Jerusalem! Your light has come, the glory of the Lord shines upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth, and thick clouds cover the peoples; But upon you the LORD shines, and over you appears his glory.
Nations shall walk by your light, and kings by your shining radiance.
Raise your eyes and look about; they all gather and come to you: Your sons come from afar, and your daughters in the arms of their nurses.
Then you shall be radiant at what you see, your heart shall throb and overflow, For the riches of the sea shall be emptied out before you, the wealth of nations shall be brought to you.
Caravans of camels shall fill you, dromedaries from Midian and Ephah; All from Sheba shall come bearing gold and frankincense, and proclaiming the praises of the LORD.
Psalms 72(71),1-2.7-8.10-11.12-13.
O God, with your judgment endow the king,
and with your justice, the king's son;
He shall govern your people with justice
and your afflicted ones with judgment. …

Papal Audience - An 88 Percent Increase After a Decade of Decline under Francis

Attendance at papal events increased by 88 percent in 2025, rising to 3.17 million participants, after more than a decade of sustained decline during the pontificate of Pope Francis.
At the beginning of Francis’ pontificate, attendance exceeded 7.3 million, one of the highest levels ever recorded.
From that point onward, participation declined almost uninterruptedly.
By 2024, attendance had fallen to 1,682,100, less than a quarter of the levels seen in 2013.
The loss of engagement unfolded gradually but consistently, with no year reversing the trend in a meaningful way.
During the final months of Francis’ pontificate in early 2025, only 262,820 people attended papal events.
His last general audience took place on 12 February, shortly before his hospitalization and death.
By that stage, public participation had reached historically low levels.
The election of Leo XIV in May produced an immediate numerical increase. From May to December, 2.9 million people attended papal events, with …More

Russia slams Austria for allowing Ukrainian ultra-nationalist march

Rallies honoring Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera insult the memory of those killed during World War II, Moscow has said
Russia’s embassy in Austria has condemned Vienna for what it said was the authorities’ “effective indulgence” of a march by Ukrainian ultra-nationalists to mark the birthday of Stepan Bandera.
Bandera, a convicted terrorist who had been serving time in Poland for plotting to kill their interior minister, was freed by the Nazis and collaborated with them during World War II with the intention of creating a Ukrainian state aligned with Germany.
In a statement posted on Friday, the embassy said it felt “nothing but deep disgust” at what it called a provocative stunt by a “handful” of Ukrainian radicals based in Austria, who celebrated “a Nazi accomplice” and “war criminal” in central Vienna.
“Such actions constitute a direct insult to the memory of the victims of Nazism and a blatant challenge to public morality,” the embassy said, adding it had lodged an …

Has trump said anything about this? Where is his righteous indignation about this evil going on again in Australia and other countries. Why hasn't he banned satanism in our schools? It takes the TFP to stop them when they can and those of us who sign their petitions. Those who pray with them. He is a liar and fake as can be. Who can't see this? Some do not pay attention as they should be doing. Why is Russia the only country "always" speaking out and condemning and all the evils of the world. Banning and kicking it out of their country?
