Ukraine has lost its halo, as corruption charges swirl like an evil-smelling fog around its political elite, according to award-winning journalist and commentator Peter Hitchens. For years, Ukraine been portrayed as a saintly nation, a paradise of freedom and democracy, the anti-Russia. Its even been said that Russian president Vladimir Putin fears that his own people would like to live there This belief, which was always absurd to anyone who knew the region, has now collapsed as Ukrainian elite figures are exposed with bundles of banknotes under their beds and golden lavatories in their bathrooms, making unhealthy livings out of a supposed holy war. Antiphon of Saint Nicholas Against the Errant Doctrine O lumen veritatis, Shone Nicholas in council hall; The heretic raised trembling voice, And shadows gather’d round them all. O pastor fidelissimus, Nick rose with righteous, solemn fire: “Let not the Son be counted less Than He who births the heavenly choir.” O verbum aeternae lucis, He struck with creed, not flesh nor spear— A blow of truth, a liturgy That drove the errant teaching clear. O sancte Nicolae, quick, Rose steadfast Nick against the heretic; Not flesh he struck, but error thick— A truth-born slap, austere and mystic._ O defensor fidei, Thus did the saint his vigil keep: By doctrine’s light the night was torn, And error sank in humbled sleep.

When every critical discussion has been stifled for five years and only allowed to take place unchallenged in protected spaces, escalation is inevitable as soon as serious questions are asked. This is precisely what happened in the German Bundestag. Christian Drosten, the ever-confident Covid “expert,” changed the subject, feigned confusion, lost his train of thought, and evaded every clear question as soon as his contradictions surfaced. This is the same Christian Drosten who worked at Berlin’s Charité hospital and astonished the world with a PCR test for the only legitimate disease, cobbled together overnight. He is the originator of the idea of an asymptomatic “disease.” This is the same virologist whose doctoral dissertation vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a table of contents. He was given airtime on television in German-speaking countries and beyond to stoke fears of the greatest planned …
Saint Nicholas: The true story of Santa Claus He was ordained and appointed abbot of a monastery by his uncle, the archbishop of Myra in Lycia. When the Archbishop passed away, Nicholas was elected to the vacant see. Throughout his life, he retained the bright and guileless manners of his early years. St. Nicholas is the special protector of the innocent. When he heard that three girls were being abandoned by their father, he intervened. He set out at night and flung a bag of gold into the father's house. Upon awakening, the father deemed the gift a godsend and dowered his eldest child. St. Nicholas was overjoyed and did likewise for the second daughter. During his third attempt, he was discovered. The father approached Nicholas and kissed the latter's feet saying, "Why dost thou conceal thyself from me? Thou hast delivered my soul and my daughters from sin." St. Nicholas is usually depicted beside a vessel. It represents where three children were trapped, and Nicholas either saved them …More
The Vatican on Thursday published the conclusions of its study commission on women deacons. The Commission rules out admitting women to the diaconate understood as a degree of the sacrament of Holy Orders, but without issuing a definitive judgment at this time. The report stresses repeatedly that the negative assessment is “strong” yet “does not permit formulating a definitive judgment,” unlike the case of priestly ordination. Submission of the Report to Pope Leo XIV On 18 September, Cardinal Giuseppe Petrocchi, President of the Study Commission on the Female Diaconate, submitted to Pope Leo XIV a detailed synthesis of the Commission’s work. The report reflects several years of historical, theological, and pastoral investigation. Historical Findings: A Non-Sacramental Ancient Practice The Commission revisited the findings of two earlier Vatican commissions. Historical research confirms that, in the early Church, the title deaconess appeared in different regions and periods, but with …More
I’m pretty sure John Paul II permanently closed the door on that, with what may be an infallible definition of the priesthood, but memories are short now as legacy is considered a faux-pas.
A Vatican commission set up by Pope Francis in 2020 concluded that the Catholic Church should not move forward with ordaining women as deacons, based on historical and theological findings that rule out admitting women to the sacramental diaconate. However, the commission emphasized that its conclusion is not a final or definitive judgment.

Yesterday, a statement appeared on the WHO website in which we can read how the WHO justifies its fight for survival and the revival of the pandemic threat from a virus that is a symbol of the monarchy: From the emergence and spread of the first SARS coronavirus in 2002 and MERS-CoV in 2012, to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in 2019, coronaviruses have repeatedly shown their capacity to trigger epidemics and pandemics. Cardinal Gerhard Müller reflects in the newspaper Die Tagespost on December 4 on the 60th anniversary of Vatican II. He claims that debates about the interpretation of the Council have significantly shaped the faith of many Catholics since the 1960s [while in reality, Cathoilcs simply vanished]. The Cardinal notes that both “traditionalist” and “progressivist” approaches can misinterpret the Council: the former want to go behind the Council, while the latter seek to move beyond it. He argues that the Council itself distinguishes between the unchangeable substance of Catholic doctrine, liturgy, and Church constitution, and the "changeable" forms of expression or liturgical practice. According to him, both “sterile conservatism” and unfounded modernism misunderstand this distinction. Furthermore, Cardinal Müller considers debates about whether the Council was “merely pastoral” to be theologically absurd, as doctrine and pastoral mission are inseparable in Christ. The problem here is the following... people who were born in the novus ordo dont know half about the horror of Vatican II, for most the Eucharist STILL happens there actively as it becomes the Blood, Body, Soul and Divinity of our Lord in such a tiny piece of bread, so most dont care... I understand the resistance in both sides, yet hurts to see the engagement to those on the other side sometimes is not made with sincere love, but the desire to hurt... Card. Muller, deeply believe waht he is talking about, is like Card. Gregory (a false prophet), who is such a traitor of the faith, yet he strongly believes in prolife... so yes, card Muller is wrong in many ways but in others he is right.
"A deed sometimes seemeth to be done of charity and love of God, when it is rather done of carnality, and of a fleshly love, than of a charitable love: for commonly some carnal inclination to our friends, or some inordinate love to ourself, or some hope of a temporal reward, or the desire of some other profit, moveth us to do the deed, and not the pure love of charity."
[Thomas a Kempis – XIV-XV Century AD; Kempen, Holy Roman Empire/Zwolle, Holy Roman Empire; aged 90-91; Canon, Regular] 15. OF WORKS DONE IN CHARITY. FOR nothing in the world, nor for the love of any creature, is evil to be done, but sometimes for the need and comfort of our neighbour a good deed may be deferred, or be turned into another good deed, for thereby it is not destroyed, but is changed into better. Without charity the outward deed is little to be praised: but whatsoever is done of charity, be it never so little, or never so despicable in sight of the world, it is right profitable before God, Who judgeth all things after the intent of the doer, and not after the greatness or worthiness of the deed. He doth much that much loveth God, and he doth much that doeth his deed well, and he doeth his deed well, that doth it rather for the commonalty than for his own will. A deed sometimes seemeth to be done of charity and love of God, when it is rather done of carnality, and of a fleshly …More
Archbishop Georg Gänswein, the Apostolic Nuncio to the Baltic States, has renewed his call for a peaceful approach to the Roman Rite. In a press release, the German broadcaster K-TV announced that the full interview will air on Sunday. In it, Archbishop Gänswein comments on Pope Francis’ 2021 motu proprio Traditionis custodes. He argued that the Church should once again consider the pastoral approach adopted by Pope Benedict XVI in 'Summorum Pontificum': "I consider Pope Benedict’s wise regulation to be the right path — and this path should be continued without burdens or restrictions," said Monsignor Gänswein. He added that he hopes Pope Leo XIV will continue the pacification of this thorny issue. Archbishop Gänswein also expressed his personal desire to see a formal beatification process opened for the late Pope Benedict XVI. #newsNyyjolwslt
"I consider Pope Benedict’s wise regulation to be the right path" --- These modernists do not change. They love lives in falsehood and fiction, and call it "the right path".
Archbishop Gänswein made those statements in January 2023. I wonder if hestill feels the same way today. Perhaps he does, but "flexibility" has always been one of the strong suits of the Conciliarists.
