[Saint Catherine of Siena /Caterina di Benincasa/; XIV-XV Century AD; Siena, Republic of Siena/Rome, Papal States; aged 33; Spiritual Writer; Mystic; Virgin; Doctor of the Church] ‘How virtues are accomplished by means of our neighbour and how it is that virtues differ to such an extent in creatures.’ " I have told thee how all sins are accomplished by means of thy neighbour, through the principles which I exposed to thee, that is, because men are deprived of the affection of love, which gives light to every virtue. In the same way self-love, which destroys charity and affection towards the neighbour, is the principle and foundation of every evil. All scandals, hatred, cruelty, and every sort of trouble proceed from this perverse root of self-love, which has poisoned the entire world, and weakened the mystical body of the Holy Church, and the universal body of the believers in the Christian religion ; and, therefore, I said to thee, that it was in the neighbour, that is to say in the …More

Blessed Maria Gabriella Sagheddu - April 23 Also known as Maria Gabriella Mary-Gabrielle Sagheddu Memorial 23 April Profile Born to a family of shepherds. As a child she was described as obstinate, critical, protesting, and rebellious – but loyal, and obedient; she would say no to a request – but act on it at once. At 18 she became gentler, her temper abated, she became involved in prayer and charity, and joined “Azione Cattolic,” a Catholic youth movement. At 21 she entered the Trappestinemonastery of Grottaferrata. When she was accepted, her attitude finally became “Now do what You will.” When the community’s leader explained a request for prayer and offering for the great cause of Christian Unity, Maria Gabriella felt compelled to offer her young life to the cause. Though she’d never been sick before, she suddenly developed tuberculosis. In a mere 15 months spent in prayer for Unity, it took her to her death. Born 17 March1914 at Dorgali, Sardinia, Italy Died …More

The Vatican is pressing forward with the plan to reshape the Church into a more participatory, consultative body with shared decision-making across multiple levels, according to a report by katholisch.de on April 21. On April 17, the General Secretariat of the Synod convened the XVI Ordinary Council in an online session chaired by Cardinal Mario Grech. The meeting opened with a prayer led by Sister Nathalie Becquart. Council members reviewed progress on implementing the final document of the Synod on Synodality and examined ongoing work by study groups. A key next step will be a preparatory meeting at the Vatican from June 23–25, aimed at translating the Synod’s 2024 conclusions into concrete action at the continental level. This implementation phase is scheduled to run through spring 2028. Participants in June will include leaders of major continental episcopal bodies (CELAM, CCEE, and SECAM) alongside representatives of Eastern Catholic patriarchates and delegations from the bishops …More

“Children don’t come into this world confused. They come in wanting candy and toys. They want to play. They want to have fun… they don’t come in wondering about their privates or about their inclinations or s*xuaI instincts. No, it’s unstable, perverted adults that are indoctrinating young children, that are confusing the least of these by planting suggestions in their mind, showing them pictures and asking them to experiment… I think it is mental child abuse. I think it is psychological brainwashing. I think it ought to be a crime. I think parents ought to rise up… And the government is silent about it and crooked about it. And they’re teaching our children things we don’t want them to know. And they’re exposing them too early and they’re convincing them of something that isn’t even the truth. To me, that is a crime against humanity. And if you are a school teacher who is doing this, you, in my opinion, are a criminal. And if you are a school principal who’s promoting this, you …More
Acts of the Apostles 8,26-40. The angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, "Get up and head south on the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza, the desert route." So he got up and set out. Now there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of the Candace, that is, the queen of the Ethiopians, in charge of her entire treasury, who had come to Jerusalem to worship, and was returning home. Seated in his chariot, he was reading the prophet Isaiah. The Spirit said to Philip, "Go and join up with that chariot." Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?" He replied, "How can I, unless someone instructs me?" So he invited Philip to get in and sit with him. This was the scripture passage he was reading: "Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opened not his mouth. In (his) humiliation justice was denied him. Who will tell of his posterity? For his life is taken from the earth." …More
Apostelgeschichte 8,26-40. In der Erniedrigung …More
04/22/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. Some find this situation deeply distressing, while others are completely unfazed by it. Most of them adopt a mindset designed to keep thoughts of the atrocities—of which they were witnesses and, not infrequently, perpetrators—at bay. They drown out their doubts by arguing that, after all, these were subhumans. For, as the Chabad-Lubavitch sect claims, anyone whose mother is not Jewish is a goy, destined to serve the “chosen” people. Therefore, the killing of a goy cannot be equated with the killing of a Jew. One of the milder racist remarks made by the Lubavitcher Rebbe (Schneerson), who died in 1994 and was the seventh and last leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic dynasty. However, numbing one’s conscience in this way does not help everyone. For many, it has no effect. They cannot forget the images of the murdered civilians. The left-liberal, English-language Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on this on Friday. The article is titled: …
On 22 April, ElWanderer.com wrote that one of the most painful legacies of Francis’s pontificate was the bishops he left the Church. In Argentina, Francis appointed 67 bishops, choosing them from among priests who lacked the most basic and essential qualities. On at least three occasions, Francis appointed bishops in Argentina who accepted the nomination but then renounced their consecration weeks later. The rumoured reason was 'skeletons in the closet'. The same happened with the failed Indonesian bishop, Pascalis Syukur: he was chosen as a cardinal by Bergoglio in 2024, gladly accepted the designation, but resigned a few days later. It later emerged that he had been in a romantic relationship with a woman with whom he had two children. It seems likely that Francis appointed bishops from among priests he found personally agreeable or with whom he had some affinity. ElWanderer gives another example. All of the Jesuits who formed the Bergoglian group in the 1980s are now bishops. During …More
I suspect the followers of their new religion, and Conciliarism most certainly Is a new religion, would absolutely disagree. Virtually all post-Vatican II appointees are faithfully following the false and heretical teachings of the Second Vatican Council.
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 6,44-51. Jesus said to the crowds: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day. It is written in the prophets: 'They shall all be taught by God.' Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world." shareyourcatholicfaith
