Bishop Eleganti Warns against "Universal Fraternity" without Christ

On Thursday, retired Swiss bishop Marian Eleganti warned at the RomeLifeForum.com that efforts to promote a 'universal fraternity' risk collapsing into religious relativism.
He stressed that, according to Christian teaching, people are not 'children of God' simply by existing. Rather, they receive this identity through faith in Christ and baptism. Any model of human fraternity that obscures this truth ceases to be authentically Christian, he said.
Mission Cannot Be Replaced by Dialogue
Monsignor Eleganti warned that the Church’s mission must not be reduced to interreligious dialogue which avoids proclaiming the truth.
He also noted the impact of media imagery showing religious leaders praying together, which implicitly suggests that "one religion is as good as another".
Criticism of Pope Francis’ Statements
Furthermore, Bishop Eleganti criticised Pope Francis's controversial remarks. He cited the 2024 statement in Singapore that "all religions are a path to God", as well as the assertion …More

First Week of Advent, Friday
We continue posting Advent reflections by the Church Fathers. It's a good way to prepare to celebrate Christmas. The reflections and quotations come from the book called, Advent and Christmas with the Church Fathers by Marco Pappalardo.
Introduction
Jesus was born two thousand years ago. This is a historical fact for everyone, and it is the starting point and destination of salvation history for those who believe. So what are we waiting for? We await the coming of Christ on the last day, which will be the beginning of the never-ending celebration. Yet the way we wait is also important. Here are some fitting words: gladness, hope, poverty in spirit, thoughts directed to God, and everlasting treasures.

Hudson’s Bay Charter En Route To Museum – Is This Conservation Or Culturalism?

Hudson's Bay Charter En Route To Museum - Is This Conservation Or Culturalism? | Dominion Review

Three hundred and fifty-five years. That was the duration of time that the Hudson’s Bay Company existed prior to the beginning of its liquidation in March of this year. Founded in 1670 by Royal Charter of King Charles II, it is rather poetic that – over 300 years later – it would be dissolved under King Charles III.
The history of the Hudson’s Bay Company and the history of Canada are nigh inseparable. In line with the mercantilist policy throughout the remainder of the British Empire, the HBC effectively ruled Rupert’s Land. This was akin to the East India Company in the Subcontinent, and the British South Africa Company in Rhodesia.
As with all institutions of culture and identity in this country, the Hudson’s Bay Company had been fundamentally subverted, right under all of our noses.
In an article published back in April, Jeffery Vacante of the Toronto Star pointed out that the liquidation of the Hudson’s Bay Company came at a very convenient time. Especially so for its American

A Modest Proposal for Reeducating the Bishops

A Modest Proposal for Reeducating the Bishops

We hear much from the Church of today about “dialogue.” Josef Pieper, in Abuse of Language—Abuse of Power, reminds us: “Any discourse detached from the norms of reality is at the same time mere monologue.
The time has come to reeducate our bishops, beginning with how they use—and manifestly misuse—the English language. Our Lord gave us a clear precept about language: “Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from the Evil One” (Matthew 5:37). And likewise, from the Old Testament: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20). These bishops, and sadly even the supreme pontiff, have, in proclaiming and teaching about immigration and other societal issues, fallen prey to the scourges of muddy thinking, faulty analysis, and false equivalence.
This woeful state of affairs recently came to my attention after some time spent in adoration before …

Those who call themselves bishops should be given basic Catholic lessons—intensive classes where they learn that the apostate ecumenism they promote violates the First Commandment. But I don't think they'll attend such classes because they know very well what they're doing and the destructive plan they're following.

Saint Barbara of Nicomedia - December 4
That's don Reto Nay, cofounder of GTV!
Virgin and Martyr
(3rd century)

St. Barbara's pagan father Dioscorus confined her in a tower and goaded her to renounce Jesus. In that forced solitude, she prayed and studied. She also received formation and baptism.
When St. Barbara's activities were uncovered, Dioscorus was enraged. He denounced St. Barbara before a civil tribunal. As punishment, she was tortured and beheaded.
Martyrologies state that Dioscorus was St. Barbara's executioner. Some also state that he was killed by a lightning bolt. St. Barbara's prayers likely resulted in conversions and miracles through her intercession.

Gather Us In · Marty Haugen
Here in this place new light is streaming
Now is the darkness vanished away
See in this space our fears and our dreamings
Brought here to you in the light of this day
Gather us in, the lost and forsaken
Gather us in, the blind and the lame
Call to us now and we shall awaken
We shall arise at the sound of our name
We are the young, our lives are a mystery
We are the old who yearn for your face
We have been sung throughout all of history
Called to be light to the whole human race
Gather us in, the rich and the haughty
Gather us in, the proud and the strong
Give us a heart so meek and so lowly
Give us the courage to enter the song
Here we will take the wine and the water
Here we will take the bread of new birth
Here you shall call your sons and your daughters
Call us anew to be salt for the earth
Give us to drink the wine of compassion
Give us to eat the bread that is you
Nourish us well and teach us to fashion
Lives that are holy …More

A beautiful maiden imprisoned in a high tower by her father Dioscorus for disobedience. While there, she was tutored by philosphers, orators and poets. From them she learned to think, and decided that polytheism was nonsense. With the help of Origen and Valentinian, she converted to Christianity.
Her father denounced her to the local authorities for her faith, and they ordered him to kill her. She escaped, but he caught her, dragged her home by her hair, tortured her, and killed her. He was immediately struck by lightning, or according to some sources, fire from heaven.
Her imprisonment led to her association with towers, then the construction and maintenance of them, then to their military uses. The lightning that avenged her murder led to asking her protection against fire and lightning, and her patronage of firefighters, etc. Her association with things military and …More

Leo Claims Christians and Muslims Worship Same God at Interfaith Spectacle

We all knew that he just couldn’t help himself.
We knew that for a modernist of Pope Bob’s pedigree, it would be impossible to travel through the Middle East and not promote their diabolical false One World Religion.
When Pope Leo XIV stood in Martyrs’ Square in Beirut on 1 December and proclaimed that “every bell and every adhān” should be “united into a single hymn” to “the one God,” the world applauded what it assumed to be yet another step forward in the grand modernist romance of interreligious harmony.
But for Catholics who measure words not by their emotional appeal but by their theological truth, the event was yet another tragedy of ambiguity—a moment symptomatic of the deeper crisis of a Pope who refuses to speak clearly about who God is and who Christ is.
The papal message in Beirut, wrapped in a soft sentimentalism, projects a vision of humanity where competing theological claims, historically irreconcilable, melt conveniently into an amorphous spirituality. It is a …

St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274)
"It is absurd for a heretic to say that he believes in Jesus Christ. To believe in a person is to give our full consent to his word and to all he teaches. True faith, therefore, is absolute belief in Jesus Christ and in all He taught. Hence, he who does not adhere to everything Jesus Christ has prescribed for our salvation does not have any more of the Doctrine of Jesus Christ than the pagans, Jews and Mohammedans."

Apostate Prevost attacks the kingship of Christ and denies the Holy Trinity
The apostate Robert Prevost demonstrates once again that he does not profess the Catholic faith by claiming that Christians and Muslims worship the same God in an act of interreligious apostasy.

Resign Or Be Invaded: Trump's Ultimatum To Maduro & Venezuela

I’m Patrick Lancaster, and what you’re about to read may be the clearest sign yet that the United States is on the brink of launching a military intervention in Venezuela. The signals are no longer subtle. They’re open, loud, and rapidly escalating.
For the first time, we have a full picture of Donald Trump’s ultimatum to Nicolás Maduro — confirmed by Trump himself — and the simultaneous U.S. military preparations that mirror the lead-up to past American invasions.
This story matters because if this escalates into a war, it won’t just reshape Latin America. It will shake global geopolitics, push oil markets to extremes, and potentially ignite a conflict involving Russia, China, and Iran.
Let’s break it down step by step.
Trump has now publicly confirmed that he spoke directly with Nicolás Maduro. When pressed by reporters, he refused to give details — but he admitted the call happened and left no doubts:
Maduro must resign immediately and leave Venezuela.
The deal offered by …

Bishop Fellay: Tucho’s Document Pitiful and Insulting to God

"The way to Heaven is tough. Our time has reached a higher intensity of evil than before. Temptations are greater than ever,” said Bishop Bernard Fellay of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X in an interview with Kenya’s Immaculata TV on 23 November (video below).
He explained that there has been a terrible crisis in the Church since Vatican II, including a terrifying decline in vocations: "You wonder how far it can go."
And, "The influence of the Church on the world is now reduced to nothing."
Bishop Fellay quoted Cardinal Ratzinger’s well-known prediction that the Church as we know it will disappear and be reduced to "little islands": "I fear we are very close to that time."
He continued, "A lot of things in the Church have already been destroyed."
On Tucho’s Document About Marian Titles
Regarding Cardinal Victor (Tucho) Fernández and his recent document on the Marian titles Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of all graces, Bishop Fellay called it “pitiful.”
