They were convicted in November 2022 of failing to register the 612 Fund as a “society” under Hong Kong’s Societies Ordinance and each fined HK$4,000; the fund’s secretary, Sze Shing-wai, was fined HK$2,500 and is not part of the appeal.

Police suspect Croatian nun injured herself: Croatian police believe that a Zagreb nun, Sister Marija Tatjana Zrno, 35, injured herself and falsely reported an attack. After a four-day investigation, police announced they will file a criminal complaint against the nun for falsely reporting a crime. Sister Zrno had claimed an unknown perpetrator stabbed her in the Malešnica neighborhood on November 28, after which she was treated for non-life-threatening abdominal injuries at the Sisters of Charity Hospital. Can you imagine if we could have a President Like Putin? Who actually loves and cares for his people. The things I see, the places he goes to just to meet and talk to children and citizens is unreal.
