"Answer to the third question. ”As to why the saints are not seen as they are, I answer:If my saints were openly visible and seen to speak, then honor would be given to them as to myself, and faith would have not merit. Besides, weak flesh would not be capable of seeing them, and it does not accord with my justice that such great weakness should behold so splendid a sight. Consequently, my saints are neither heard nor seen as they are, in order that I should receive all the honor and so that people may know that no one is to be loved more than me."
[Saint Bridget of Sweden – XIV Century AD; Uppland, Sweden/Rome, Papal States; Patron Saint of Europe, Widow, Mystic, Spiritual Writer] “Interrogation 8 First question. Again the monk appeared on his rung as before, saying: ”O Judge, I ask you: Why do you permit gods to be placed in temples and receive honor as yourself, even though your kingdom is nobler beyond all else?” Second question. ”Why do you not let people see your glory in this life, so that they may desire it more fervently?” Third question. ”Since your saints and angels are nobler and holier above all other creatures, why are they not seen by people in this life?” Fourth question. ”Since the punishments of hell are horrible beyond compare, why do you not let people see them in this life so that they may flee from them?” Fifth question. ”Since the devils are ugly and misshapen beyond compare, why are they not visible to humans, for then nobody would follow them or give them their consent?” Answer to the first question …More

Introduction In December, we reported that Bishop Hicks’ diocesan chancellor, Robert Salvato, was ‘married’ to another man. Salvato was appointed Chancellor by Hicks in 2021. As Chancellor, Salvato was responsible for advising Hicks on issues related to canon law and recording ecclesiastical acts, decrees and dispensations issued by the bishop. As if the diocesan Chancellor getting ‘married’ to his boyfriend was not enough of a scandal, we now have reports that Fr. Richard Smith, the Vicar General for the diocese of Joliet, attended the ‘ceremony.’ An eyewitness has told us that Smith was definitely in attendance. Additionally, two other sources positively identified Smith as the man featured in the above photo from the ‘wedding’ (additional photos of the event available here). We contacted Fr. Smith on December 28, 2025 asking him to comment on these allegations but have not received a response. This is an especially explosive allegation because, as Vicar General, Smith is …

Also Daniel Davis with a take on what's going on. U.S. Seizes Russian-Flagged Oil Tanker /Lt Col Daniel Davis Trump is surely leading us towards a war soon. If not for Putin and Russia being so patient and level headed, there would have been a war many years ago. If it was any other country, America would have been attacked long before now. People should be thanking GOD for putting Putin into power in Russia and not another trump.
The Venezuelan government has quietly contracted Rothschild & Co. — the global investment powerhouse long accused of pulling strings behind sovereign debt crises — to map out the nation’s external debt obligations amid a full economic breakdown. According to insiders, Rothschild’s job is not simply bookkeeping — they’re building the blueprint for total financial restructuring under globalist control, a typical precursor to sovereign economic takeover. Venezuela owes hundreds of billions of dollars to foreign bondholders and state creditors, a mountain of liabilities that has crippled Caracas for years. This includes sovereign bonds and PDVSA oil debt that have been in default for over six years. BYPASS THE CENSORS Sign up to get unfiltered news delivered straight to your inbox. A painting that visually resembled The Last Supper was displayed in mid-December 2025 at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale in Kochi, India. Following protests by Christian groups, the artwork was taken down in recent days. Organisers stated the removal was to prevent escalation and maintain public order. The artwork was created by Kerala-based blasphemer Tom Vattakuzhy. He depicted a female central figure with an exposed upper body placed in the position traditionally associated with Jesus Christ. The surrounding figures appear to resemble Catholic religious. The Syro-Malabar Church criticised the artwork as blasphemous and offensive to Christian faith. Church representatives stated that the painting constituted a distortion of a sacred Christian symbol. Church representatives also pointed out that the same image had drawn objections earlier as it was already published in December 2016 in the Malayalam literary magazine Bhashaposhini. Already back then, the image was withdrawn from circulation …More
A Full Training in Sacred Art Wall Painting Suitable for Catholics Writing the Light’s 2-year Certificate, Starts Fall 2026, Applications Open Now. If we want to see a genuine and widespread flourishing of sacred art in our churches, artists must learn to paint church interiors. To participate authentically in the sacred liturgy, the environment in which we worship must foster an encounter with Christ in the Eucharist. This requires beautifully celebrated liturgies, as well as music, art, and architecture that harmonise with the actions of the celebrants and the congregation. The frescoes at St Francis of Assisi, Baddesley Clinton, England, painted by contemporary English Catholic artist Martin Earle. See here for more infomation. If the sacred art is to play its part in this, we need artists who can paint well and on a large scale, directly onto the walls and ceilings of our places of worship, creating sacred spaces that draw us powerfully into the encounter with Christ. The Writing …
Bravo! Just look at all those jugs of soon to be Holy exorcism water. Nice job. Now give me a moment, In the Ethiopian Orthodox, three priests pray over the water for quite some time, in an all day event. In Ethiopian Orthodox Epiphany (Timket) celebrations, priests perform elaborate, lengthy blessings over the waters, often involving all-night prayers, chants, and hymns leading up to the main blessing on January 19th, where a patriarch dips a cross into the water, symbolizing Christ's baptism, with the entire ritual and community participation lasting hours, even as the sun rises. The solemn blessing itself involves specific litanies, exorcism prayers, and the Te Deum, making it a significant, extended liturgical event. Key Aspects of the Blessing Ceremony: All-Night Vigil: The main festivities begin the eve (Ketera) with night-long prayers and hymns before the blessing. Procession: The tabot (replica of the Ark of the Covenant) is brought to a body of water (lake, river, or pool). …More

Father Tad Pacholczyk On The Morality Of Embryo Adoption Father Tad Pacholczyk serves as Senior Ethicist at The National Catholic Bioethics Center and has a doctorate in neuroscience. Today he joins Kevin Nelson in the living room to chat about embryo adoption. He defines embryo adoption for us and why there is controversy around the topic, talks about how there is no official Church teaching on it, his professional opinion as an ethicist, his recent debate on this topic with another Catholic priest, what the points of his opposing position and what his reasons were, if a Catholic couple can choose this option prudently or if it is a grave sin, some alternatives to embryo adoption that still recognize the dignity of the human life of the embryo but doesn’t force a couple to engage in in-vitro fertilization, and where viewers can learn more about his work. As we approach January 7 and the first extraordinary consistory of cardinals that Pope Leo XIV will convene, this is one of those moments where Catholics really need to pause, kneel down, and pray. A consistory is not just Vatican bureaucracy or Church politics, it is a serious act of governance that can shape the direction of the Church for years to come. So let us pray hard that good fruits come out of it, real fruits for the glory of God and the sanctification of souls. According to reports, the liturgy will be one of the topics discussed, and honestly, that should give us both hope and a sense of responsibility. I am hopeful, not just for the future of the Traditional Latin Mass, which so many faithful Catholics love and have sacrificed for, but also for the Novus Ordo itself. There are real concerns there, abuses, casualness, loss of reverence, and the disappearance of the sense of mystery. Pope Leo has already emphasized in the past that the liturgy is not ours to tamper with, that …More
@Tom Morelli Hoping that Leo XIV and the current college of cardinals will produce good fruits through the consistory is vain. The purpose of the consistory - according to Leo XIV's letter - is to give firm roots to the "synodal church", based on the heterodox encyclicals of Francis. A false church of which no good fruits will come. Don't be fooled, don't be gaslighted.
