Pope Leo XIV has appointed Auxiliary Bishop Ramón Bejarano of San Diego as the new Bishop of Monterey, California. Born on July 17, 1969, in Laredo, Texas, Monsignor Bejarano was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Stockton on August 15, 1998.
