Cardinal Baltazar Enrique Porras Cardozo, emeritus of Caracas, was stopped from leaving Venezuela on December 10. Authorities at Simón Bolívar International Airport annulled his passport as he prepared to board a flight to Madrid. Officials informed him he was under a travel ban, confiscated his passport, and detained him for about two hours before sending him back to his residence. He was escorted even to go to the bathroom. Authorities claimed “non-compliance with travel regulations” and required Cardinal Porras to sign a document confirming he could not travel. The cardinal reported that when he attempted to photograph the document, he was threatened with arrest. He also said an officer told him he appeared as “deceased” in the government system, which was used to justify the passport cancellation. The Arabic word salaam (Arabic: سلام "peace") originates from the same root as the word Islam.[1] The word silm (سِلم) also means the religion of Islam in Arabic, and the phrase "he entered as-silm (peace)" means "he entered Islam." One Islamic interpretation is that individual personal peace is attained by submitting one's will to the Will of Allah. So peace in islam means that everybody will be moslim and following shariah laws. Sometimes the same word means something completely different in other culture. If one shouts peace and somebody hears peace, then what are we to hear?
Cardinal José Cobo Is an Active Homosexual, a Spanish TV host claims publicly: On 20 November, Federico Jiménez Losantos, a well-known Spanish radio host and political commentator, said on his show: "If you see a bishop, examine him. Some of them have boyfriends who are involved in all kinds of trouble, yet they go around preaching the gospel. My goodness, I don't even want to think about it. This evening, Pope Leo XIV participated in a niche interreligious gathering organised by the Sant’Egido Community at the Colosseum. On 30 November, Cardinal Reinhard Marx consecrated the new table altar in the parish church of Maria Schutz in Munich-Pasing. The church’s sanctuary had been completely redesigned. The new altar table and the matching ambo are made of light-colored artificial stone and feature a wavy form. According to the artist, the wave-like contours are intended to echo the protective folds of Mary’s mantle. Round forms and circles are commonly used in various pagan religions.
