Astonishing Lack of Ethical Behaviour in the Archdiocese of Salzburg

Austria

The spokesman of the archdiocese of Salzburg, deacon Wolfgang Kumpfmüller, has displayed an outrageous lack of ethical behaviour. He is the director of the diocesan “Office for Communication and Public Relation”. Keeping Pace with State of the Art Technology
Vatican
Yesterday the Holy See Press Office gave a conference to present the new high-definition outside-broadcasting equipment which the Vatican Television Centre (CTV) will be using in future. Fr Federico Lombardi, Vatican TV director, said, the development was necessary for the Vatican to keep pace with state of the art technology. The Vatican Television Center was established in 1983 and each year films thousands of hours of events, both in the Vatican and on papal trips. The new facility was designed by Sony with financial assistance from the Knights of Columbus.

Ballot Determent by Donuts?
USA
The U.S. bishops have elected Archbishop Timothy Dolan of New York, president of the U.S. bishops' conference. The move was unprecedented, since the bishops traditionally choose the previous vice president, in this case, Bishop Kicanas, to serve as head of the conference. Since a 50 percent majority is required for a candidate to be elected, the Nov. 16 vote had to be taken three times before a president could be chosen. (Don’t tell anyone this, but, one British wag has suggested that the archbishop was constrained to distribute donuts in order to secure sufficient votes!!)
