There are many interesting stories out of ordinary people who have found their way to Assumption Grotto. The generosity of the priests with regards to Confession (even outside of regular hours, such as before daily Masses), can't be overstated.

This says nothing of the great catechetical homilies which teach us the fullness of the faith, not just the fluff.

Until you have been to Assumption Grotto, Detroit MI, you cannot appreciate the majesty, reverence and grace that going there confers. At Grotto the grace is truly amazing! You do not know that you have it, until you've gotten it. Subtle, like a whisper. I thank God for the grace, mercy, and healing that I have recieved at "The Grotto." And especially for the Holy Priests, religious, and laity. Praise and Thanks be to God!
