I fast every Tuesday on “bread & water”
I pray the following prayers each time I take a glass of water and a slice of bread

You've just made another post with not even a remote reference to the video that was uploaded. Oddly, there is another poster at this site who operates in a similar fashion.

In the few months I've been posting, you rank right … [More]

American heroes? Let's just take two of America’s finest and best - the fire crews of NYFD (Twin Towers Attack) and the naval crew of the USS Liberty (Israeli Forces Attack). The photo depicting the raw courage of Mike Kehoe (NYFD, Engine 28, Fireman 12898) going up the stairs of the World Trade Centre summed up the selfless bravery of the NYFD fire-fighters. Courage is not the absence of fear but continuing despite the fear into danger. Amazingly, Mike Kehoe got out alive, sadly his close … [More]

Evidently, that's not enough for a leftist Euroweenie.

... it is still difficult to explain to outsiders why the Greek government has identified at least 580 job categories deemed to be hazardous enough to merit retiring early — at age 50 for women and 55 for men.

As a consequence of decades of bargains struck between strong unions and weak governments, Greece has promised … [More]

If words attributed to Stalin ("The Second World War” by Winston Churchill) are going to be used, it’s important that the context be clearly stated - for a text out of context becomes a pretext. If information is supplied about the retirement age of working people in the European Union, an accurate presentation should be given. Greece has a normal retirement age of 65 (Germany, 67). As is in most western countries, early retirement can occur if a person has served in the police or armed … [More]

With 42 cents in every income-tax dollar going directly to the US military, I can only wonder how long this temporal superpower will last before imploding

My post on this thread very clearly dealt with the European Union and its uselessness. This same reality was pointed out by Nigel Farage who lambasted the EU in this video. The video was not about the Vatican nor was it about the U.S. Military nor about United States defense appropriations. Perhaps you have not yet learned a very basic, … [More]

"The Pope! How many divisions has he got?" - The Vatican City State may well be the smallest state in the world but it is a spiritual superpower with great moral influence. With 42 cents in every income-tax dollar going directly to the US military, I can only wonder how long this temporal superpower will last before imploding (SIPRI - Global distribution of military expenditure: #1 USA, 46.5%; #2 PRC, 6.6%).

I have no idea what the current EU politics are but they’ve created a new Supreme Soviet; a government without a country. What is the advantage of belonging to the EU? That citizen-less government will always need more and more money to give itself relevance and power.

Unfortunately, the gene pool that would have revolted against this insanity have either been killed or have migrated to the New World. So, the Euroweenies may quietly go into slavery (further slavery) with folded hands.

It is quite sobering what is happening to Europe and the West. I feel like I am watching a train wreck in slow motion.
