On December 14, a solemn Mass according to the ancient Ambrosian Rite was celebrated in the historic Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio in Milan. This extraordinary liturgy followed the 1954 Ambrosian Missal. The Mass was celebrated by Monsignor Francesco Braschi, a long-time celebrant of the Ambrosian Rite, with the approval of the Archdiocese of Milan and the abbot of the basilica.

But Timor may have to stay at Casa Serena the M.C Home for the Aged, this Christmas. Here the bigger problem is the existence of Casa Serena itself. It was founded by Fr. One day, a small frog decided to climb a tall tree. As soon as she made her first jump, the other frogs below started shouting: “Are you crazy?” “That’s impossible!” “You’ll never make it!” But the little frog didn’t stop. Jump after jump, she kept going higher and higher—until she finally reached the very top. The frogs below were stunned. “How did she do it?!” It turned out… the frog was deaf. She couldn’t hear a word they were yelling. She thought they were cheering her on. Moral: Sometimes it’s better to be “deaf” to other people’s doubts, fears, and criticism. When you’re chasing a goal, don’t listen to those who are afraid themselves and want to pull you back. Keep climbing. Belief in yourself is stronger than any noise around you.
Firing Tucho is a benchmark for Leo XIV: New York canon lawyer and priest Gerald Murray is urging Pope Leo XIV to remove Cardinal Víctor “Tucho” Fernández as prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. Speaking with journalist Raymond Arroyo, Rev Murray called Fernández’s recently resurfaced pornographic writings “a total disgrace” and “a horrendous production done by a priest”. It was “not so good” that Pope Francis had suppressed the traditional Roman Mass "in an authoritarian way," Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller said in an interview with journalist Michael Haynes. Pope Francis, Cardinal Müller said, had been "hurting and committing an injustice by accusing everyone who loves the older form of the rite of being against the Second Vatican Council in a general way, without any differentiating justice to single persons." The cardinal criticized what he sees as a double standard in the Vatican’s emphasis on dialogue and respect: "All the time they speak about dialogue and respect for other persons.
