The transmission of the Word through time
"The message of the prophets and the tradition of the sages and scribes did not remain for very long as purely oral expression, but at a certain point began to be put into writing. "
The process is long: beginning with inscriptions in stone and clay.
P. Alliata: "Here there is a small object that is a copy of the original found on silver, in Jerusalem, which has a part of the Bible and it is considered to be the oldest conserved part of the Bible that was written on something."
The tiny silver fragment dates back to the 8th century BC, and is engraved with the famous priestly blessing from the book of Numbers.
For many centuries, the Bible was set on manuscripts: first on scrolls and then on parchments. The first biblical texts were set on rolls of papyrus. Next manuscripts of parchment were made from the skins of animals.

Calvinism in the form of "new age-protestantism-no offense to others faith" which involve further to so called new-religions and beliefs, now so called "new age faith" or "pop-rock messiahism" This "so called " faith or FLY BY NIGHT RELIGION HAS BECOME A SNARE'" even the faithful and very elect. {ANYONE WHO COULD JUST QUOTE OR READ THE BIBLE WITHOUT DIGGING DEEPER AND DELVING INTO THE TRUE FAITH CAN CLAIM AS THE AUTHORITY 'EVEN WORSE INSTEAD LEADING THE FLOCK TO THE TRUE FAITH AND SALVATION PLACES THEM INTO DAMNATION} FRIGHTENING ENOUGH, THEY LEAD IF NOT WITH MUCH ERROR OR CONFUSION FAR MORE TERRIBLE DOUBT AND DESPAIR. What do I mean by this, this is the actual true to life story, a certain person not to mention names; kept on changing faith or religions in the end his/her family totally left loss or loose faith and neglect prayers and rosaries became godless altogether loose interest in their new found church.
What's much worse "their former church split up" and formed varrying forms of pulpits and religions. cite a real example: "Where is the ? "worldwide church of God" What happened, to answer it, they sold their assets and form different pulpitts or churches
