I apologize for the poor filming...one would have to be there to truly appreciate this chapel filled with Thousands of holy relics of the Saints. Within the Sacristry was also Gorgeous Monstrances, chalices, etc. even relics sitting on the window frames and on the walls.
This is St. Anthony's Chapel on Troy Hill in Pittsburgh, Pa. It is the Largest public collection of Holy Relics in the Entire World.
The Chapel was built and funded by Fr. Suitbert Godfrey Mollinger (1828-1892). He was born in the Kingdom of Belgium, Providence of Brabant. He became a 2nd Lieutenant in the Cavalry. He was educated in Amsterdam, studied medicine in Naples, Rome and Ghent.
In 1854, Fr. Mollinger arrived in New York and went to Latrobe, Pennsylvania (St. Vincent's)
