May 23, 2011 After visiting Manoppello, we continued on to Aquila, Vietri sul Mare, Salerno, Paestum, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Pietrelcina, Caserta, and Montecassino, before arriving in Rome--our final destination being to be present at the Vatican, on May 1, 2011, for Pope John Paul II's beatification.

Padre Pio was born May 25, 1887 in Pietrelcina, Italy, a small country town located in southern Italy. (We recently visited his birthplace:

Viendo este maravilloso reportaje, me he sentido como si me llevaras en tu "mochila". ¡Qué recorrido tan impactante! Poder conocer la casa donde nació el Padre Pío, la Pila Bautismal; donde fue bautizado. La Catedral de Napoles dedicada a San Genaro y todo y mucho más. Me ha encantado.
Gracias por compartir vuestro viaje para aquellas personas que nos cuesta salir de nuestra madriguera.

!GRACIAS, Josefina!--ni siquiera me di cuenta que ya estaba listo el vídeo...Bueno:
1. Visitamos Áquila--no pudimos entrar a la Catedral y venerar a S. Bernardino de Siena, a causa de reparaciones por el terremoto.
2. Vietri Sul Mare--aquí nos quedamos en un hotel.
3. Pompeya--visitamos el Santuario de N. Sra. del Rosario, y las ruinas arqueológicas.
4. Domingo de Pascua--asistimos a Misa en la Iglesia de los Salesianos, y luego visitamos Paestum, y las ruinas arqueológicas.
