MrsReneoriordan......democracy is coming to Egypt.....and it's bringing the extreme Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist groups to power. That's what democracy is delivering.....but Western governments don't care....as in their opinion....democracy is infallible.

An independant Coptic State is needed somewhere....

In Tahrir Square the young people of Egypt - Muslim and Christian, clearly stated they wanted democracy!! The West supported this - but it will not be a reality 'till the Copts are free to build their Churches and live their Christian lives in peace. - Rene

Not sure if the Western world cares Holy Rope. The US might....but in Europe...they have difficulty even saying the word Christian in the EU...and in the UK, nations which persecute Christians are given millions of pounds of AID. No strings attached.

I think the Pope should intervene.....and call for a Coptic state for Copts. It's only fair since the Vatican also supports a Palestinian state for Muslims.
