We were so fortunate to have Mass celebrated when we were there in this church which houses this cave. Deo Gratias!

Commemoration of Elijah...one of the most important of the Old Testament prophets. In Haifa, precisely in a church which houses a cave in which, according to tradition, Elijah lived. There were alternating Masses, in differing Catholic rites which were celebrated in the morning. (July 20)
