Toronto Woman Arrested for Offering Pro-life Counsel in Abortion Waiting Room

36-year-old pro-life witness Mary Wagner was arrested again by Toronto police Wednesday morning as she spoke to women waiting to obtain abortions inside the vestibule of a Toronto abortion centre.

While Jalsevac remained outside handing out pro-life literature and attempting to speak to couples entering the building in which is located the abortion facility, Wagner entered the waiting room to speak to women awaiting abortions to offer them courage and resources to choose life.

Wagner has been arrested for such peaceful pro-life activism numerous times over the last decade.

A letter from Mary Wagner's mother:

I know that you all want to know when Mary is back in prison. She was arrested on Wednesday morning. I spoke with her this evening and she told me that she had been to court today but that they ran out of time so she will spend another night in jail before going back to court tomorrow.

She said she has a lovely lawyer and that the police have been respectful towards her; she says she is at peace. She will likely be sent back to Vanier Correction centre tomorrow after appearing before the court. Please keep her in your prayers.
