Sabrina — 10/02/2008 10:38:24: They are the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia in Nashville, Tennessee, a traditional order that began in 1860. Their day begins at 5 a.m. with meditation followed by a Mass. Meals are held in silence. Their vocation is to teach. The sisters here have come from different states and different backgrounds, most of them raised Catholic, some not.

they are married to Christ in a since of taking vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. In order for a marriage to work you have to communicate. In a religious vocation, God and the sister have to communicate in order for their vocation to work.

Priests are not married to God but the church. The church is sceen as a woman. Priest represent christ.

Thankyou, Catholic High School

Christ's bride is the Church, not individual church members. So - no, you can't be "married to Christ" as an individual woman. How do individual men fit into your view of marriage to Christ? Do they have to see themselves as gay in their marraige w/Christ?

Why do you hope that they DON'T feel as brides of the Lord?

I hope that they don`t only feel as brides of the Lord. Anyway it is really impressive!
