Thank-you for this. Unfortunately I've never considered the need for me personally praying for the pope! (Because I'm a convert??) I'll have to get my pray life back in order and start praying fervently.

Our Prayer Group/Bible Study always prays the 1st Pater Noster for the Holy Father and his intentions. Not sure where/when that tradition started but I commnend it or a similar practice to all. PAX

Yes, I too offer my daily prayers for His Vicar , may he be bold in speaking out against the evil of today world. May the LORD protects him and strengthen him.
