FYI, disagreeing with zhoyt1,i have never ever heard this Gaudete on the 3rd Sunday, but only at Noel... for this is not the Gaudete for the 3rd Sunday in Advent, this one is actually more proper for the Nativity at Christmas tide since it speaks only of Rejoicing at Christs Birth and having come through the Blessed Virgin....The 3rd Sunday in Advent 'Gaudete' Sunday, is traditionally an more subdued Introit here, gloria.tv, speaking of Rejoice and get ready, because the Lord is near, (… [More]
