The community is built with the contribution that each one offers, with the commitment of all. Those were the Pope's words as he celebrated Mass at the Parish of Santa Maria delle Grazie on the outskirts of Rome on Sunday. Pope Benedict XVI recalled that the first parish community worshipped in a makeshift settlement, dating back to the 1980's and it's only a year since they have been able to come to this new church. The Pope reiterated the need for efforts to educate young people to faith, fostering participation in Sunday Mass, and proposing a strengthening of Christian witness and the witness of charity. The Pope added that faith is a gift from God, but he wants our response.
