
Imagine you are set to build your dream home. You have imagined it for years and have considered and included the most up to date innovations of floor plan designs and color schemes. You have the architect draw it up and hire a contractor to build it once you’ve found the perfect site. Once it’s completed, it is absolutely stunning, better than you had ever dreamed. So, you have the open house dinner party and invite all your friends to your new home to share your excitement. They arrive at the party and express all the customary “ooh’s” and ”ah’s” with all sincerity as this place is just gorgeous. Then about a month later, you notice a crack in the wall. After a couple of months, the crack becomes bigger and more noticeable. Later, more cracks appear and after only about a year the house has to be condemned as it is no longer fit for habitation.
