One can listen to homilies all day long if they'd like, but when the same priest is giving Communion in the hand to his parishioners that truly is an abomination. He may say, he's following directions, but if he can't see the true harm and disregard to Our Lord in this Sacrament by distributing in the hands then something is wrong.
