@holyrope My experience corresponds with your sentiments. I know of two parishes in my area, where the parish priests and pastors were approached by a group (15- 20 people) of the faithful requesting the EF of the Holy Mass, and giving their pledge that they would support it. One pastor said, he took some Latin in college, but was not comfortable in saying it, and it was dropped and never brought up again.
