Sarah Mullally, the first woman appointed "Archbishop of Canterbury" of the Church of England, has been accused of mishandling an abuse case. She is due to take office on January 28. The allegation centers on her decision to send a confidential email about abuse claims directly to the accused priest, bypassing formal disciplinary procedures. The case involves a victim known as “Survivor N,” who filed a formal complaint in 2020 and reportedly received no response. Mullally has since acknowledged that "Survivor N" was not given adequate support by the Church.

Canadian Bill Criminalizes Quoting Holy Scripture: In Canada, Bill C-9 would amend the Criminal Code by removing the religious exemption in Section 319(3)(b). The change could allow quoting Holy Scripture in good faith to be prosecuted as hate speech, with penalties of up to two years in prison. The proposal comes from the Liberal government. The Canadian Bishops' Conference has formally opposed the bill in a letter to Prime Minister Mark Carney, warning of legal uncertainty for clergy, educators, and believers and a restriction of religious freedom.
The secular toxic legislation is largely an attack on Christians and Christian belief. The governing Liberal Party of Canada and the Bloc Party from Quebec have no respect for Christians. Today, Catholic Quebec that once was strong is dying quickly. How can you uproot your Christian heritage, the very foundations of the nation, and still have a country? You won’t. You have what former PM Justin Trudeau referred to as a post-nation state with no core values. We have posted several entries about this very sad development in Canada at Everyday for Life Canada.

Diocese of Palmerston North, NZ, will convene parish-level discussions “to explore … posture during the Eucharistic Prayer,” aiming to adopt a common posture across the diocese.
President Javier Milei believes himself to be the Moses of the 21st century, but at the same time he adores the Italian-American mobster Al Capone. He believes that his army is made up of "forces from heaven," which are actually servants and lackeys of the enemy of Yahweh and of the human race. It is a true political schizophrenia or a hypocritical imposture to the nth degree, endorsed by someone who is supposed to be a master of the Mosaic Law
Pope Leo XIV published today an Apostolic Letter on archaeology. Marking 100 years since the founding of the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology, he described the discipline as “indispensable for understanding Christianity”: “Revelation is always history. If this is so, then understanding Revelation requires an adequate knowledge of the historical, cultural and material contexts in which it took place,” he wrote. The Pontifical Institute, founded in 1925, is led by German priest Stefan Heid. He is world-famous for his research showing that the early Church celebrated Holy Mass ad orientem.
Pope to Pontifical Institute of Archaeology: “By concentrating on the physical traces of faith, archeology educates us in a theology of the senses: a theology that knows how to see, touch, smell and listen. Christian archeology is a school of the senses. By examining stones, ruins and other artifacts, it teaches us that nothing touched by faith is insignificant.

More pornographic texts of pro-homosexual Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández, 63, have emerged. ElWanderer.com published today new quotes from different books. The disgusting texts are more of the same soft-porn style as published by Tucho in Heal Me with Your Mouth: The Art of Kissing, 1995, and in The Mystical Passion: Spirituality and Sensuality, 1998. The latter is about male and female orgasms. The newly discovered books show that the first two were not a youthful mistake, but that this erotic mindset was constant. KISS: Your mouth sings / without using words. Aged 39, Tucho wrote in his 2002 book ¿Por qué no termino de sanarme? (“Why can’t I finish healing myself?”), on page 10: “A body can make an impact if it wears the right clothes, clothes that awaken sensuality by accentuating interesting shapes, depending on the body type.
