We are from Valsequillo, a small and beautiful village in Gran Canaria. Gran Canaria is one of the seven Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. We are from Spain. The song we sing “Vivo en un Archipiélago” ( I live in an Archipelago) is from the Canarian singer named, Manuel Negrín (Pololo) and it’s about life on our islands, which people often refer to as the "fortunate Islands”, and its wonderful people. In the video, you can see our breathtaking landscapes as well as, our traditional clothing, dances, and games. All of our pupils (286) have taken part in this project, from the youngest (3 years old) to the oldest.
