The reaction of SSPX has little to NOTHING to do with pride or
lack of charity. Those individual clerics 'inside' the Church, who
vehemently despise the work of the Holy Spirit thru Archbishop Marcel
LeFevbre (Fellay et al), show false pride and lack of Christian charity.

Never forget... the Church is passing through an era of apostasy
from within the Church. If you don't recognize this...have you been sleeping these past 40 yrs.

This is so sad...not only on the part of the Cardinals changing what appears to be a end run around the Holy Father, but also to SSPX for not coming home with charity and humility. To SSPX, the Church needs you, get rid of your pride and come home! So sad if this is true.

I used to side with SSPX but found some of their positions too entrenching and prideful. Hopefully in all charity they will come home and help those of us who are suffering through so many abuses, reform the reform.
So SAD!

If the Pope wants to regularize the SSPX, and has agreed to Bishop Fellay's version of the Preamble, then by what right does Cardinal Levada and his advisors have to usurp the Holy Father's will? In addition, by what right do they have in amending the Preamble to include elements that would probably, require the SSPX to cease any criticism of the application of VII (not the documents in and of itself)?
