She lost her mother when she was 3, you idiot and you have the unmitigated gall to lecture this woman about "compassion."

You write of "compassion" but you show none to this poor
girl/woman who suffered greatly because of a selfish act of someone who cared little for her and who knows how many others that were also left behind.

Yes, the act is born of perceived hopelessness and mental instability. But, at its heart and especially in this case, it was also an act of selfishness demonstrating little concern for a 3 year-old child and how that child would survive not "only" because of the loss of her mother but also by the lifelong stigma of knowing that her own mother killed herself.

Please get it out of your head that suicide is a "selfish" act!
You need to understnd that 'no one in their right mind' WANTS to die.
It is only when someone is at the end of their tether and when life seems so bleak and and utterly hopeless that they cannot see any other solution.
Believe me they are suffering immensely and only make that choice when they can see no other. They need our prayers and compassion.
Who knows, If you pray for all those who are in this situation, you may actually save a life.
PLEASE never judge someone who is in this terrible situation but respond with compassion and prayer. Thankyou.
