La Croix journalists attended a Sunday Mass in Lyon, at the Church of Saint-Georges. Upon leaving, they observed: numerous families with young children; only a handful of older people; some foreigners passing through; and, above all, many young adults.
By Paix Liturgique (Christian Marquant) Nicola Spuntoni, in an article published in Il Giornale on December 16, reveals that the Pope, who has convened an extraordinary consistory for January 7 and 8, will be sending the cardinals a letter before Christmas outlining the three-point agenda for this consistory: their participation in the governance of the Church, synodality, and the liturgical question. It goes without saying that, on this last point, the status of the Traditional Latin Mass after Traditionis Custodes will not be the only topic of discussion, but it is clear that it will be an important one, if not the only raising a debate among the cardinal. This is the opinion of Spuntoni, who is particularly well-informed. It is easy to imagine Cardinals Müller and Burke, and probably Cardinal Brandmüller as well, and others too—Zuppi? Aveline?—advocating for calm. In fact, the media frenzy surrounding that event, not significant in itself but of symbolic importance, as the …
A youth trapped inside a burning ski bar in Switzerland survived in what many are calling a miracle. As the fire ripped through the basement club, exits were blocked and there was “no way out.” According to witness Laetitia Place, her friend couldn’t escape, so “he just sat down and held his cross in his hand.” Flames were spreading fast, people were panicking, but somehow the fire never reached him. “The fire was all around him,” Place said, yet “the fire just avoided him. The fire just didn’t touch him.” Eventually, he managed to break a window and escape alive. Place said she could only thank God. “I just want to thank the Lord for saving me,” she said, while also pleading for others. Many of her friends were injured, hospitalized, or still unaccounted for. The fire broke out around in the basement of Le Constellation, a packed New Year’s Eve venue in the Alpine resort town of Crans-Montana. At least 47 people are believed to have died, with 115 more injured, as the blaze tore …More
"THE FAKE REFORM DESTROYING THE CHURCH!" LINK: youtube.com/watch?v=sue_hMQPzH0 LIFESITE Professor William A. Thomas delivers a sobering analysis of the moral and spiritual unraveling of the West, tracing its roots to humanity’s rebellion against God and the Church’s retreat from truth. He critiques the rise of doctrinal ambiguity, the silence on sin and hell, and the emotionalism driving today’s “synodal” experiments. Thomas warns that modernism, relativism, and Marxist ideologies are being repackaged as reform, while in reality they are eroding catechesis, doctrine, and Catholic identity. He urges a return to the clarity of apostolic teaching, devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, and the sacred liturgy.

Bridgett Fertig @LightOnLiberty RFK Jr. said only 37 hours after Kamala and Biden were installed into the White House, they opened an illegal portal between Big Tech giants and the FBI, CIA, CDC, etc., to begin the rampant censorship of Americans. Platforms were THREATENED to comply, or else "their section 230 immunity was in jeopardy." "These people are cynical, terrible people, and they knew what they were doing was breaking the law." And now in today's time they're sucking up to President Trump with hopes to avoid charges of Treason. How many of you were banned for calling out the Covid-19 pLandemic and the 2020 election fraud?
[Saint Bridget of Sweden/ Heliga Birgitta; XIV Century AD: aged 69-70; Uppland, Sweden/Rome, Papal States; Widow, Mystic; Spiritual Writer; Founder; Patroness of Europe] “Chapter 51 ~ The Mother blesses the Son in the hearing of the bride, and about how the glorious Son makes a wonderful comparison of his most sweet Mother to a flower that grew in a valley but rose up over mountains. The Mother of God spoke to her Son and said: “Blessed be your name, my Son Jesus Christ, and all honor to your Manhood above all that is created! Glory to your Divinity above all good things, which are one God with your Manhood!” The Son answered: “My Mother, you are like a flower that grew in a valley. Around the valley there were five high mountains, and the flower grew out of three roots with a straight stem without any knots. This flower had five leaves that were filled with all sweetness. The valley with its flower grew above these five mountains, and the leaves of the flower spread themselves above …More
"Answer to the fourth and fifth questions. ”As to why self-praise should not be sought, I answer: No one is good in himself, except for me alone, God, and anyone who is good is good through me alone. Therefore, if you who are nothing seek praise for yourself and not for me from whom comes every perfect gift, then your praise is false and you do me, your Creator, an injustice. As all the good things that you have come from me, so all praise should be given to me. And just as I, your God, bestow on you all worldly goods - strength, health, knowledge, and discernment for considering what is to your advantage, and time and life - so too I alone should be glorified in everything, that is, if you make good and rational use of the things given you. However, if you make bad use of them, then the fault is yours and the ingratitude is yours.”
[Saint Bridget of Sweden – XIV Century AD; Uppland, Sweden/Rome, Papal States; Patron Saint of Europe, Widow, Mystic, Spiritual Writer] “Interrogation 7 First question. Again the monk appeared on his ladder as before saying: ”O Judge, I ask you: Why are the words ugly and beautiful used in the world?” Second question. ”Why must I hate the beauty of the world, seeing that I am beautiful and of noble ancestry?” Third question. ”Why should I not exalt myself over others, seeing that I am rich?” Fourth question. ”Why should I not put myself ahead of others, seeing that I am more honorable than others?” Fifth question. ”Why should I not seek my own praise, seeing that I am good and praiseworthy?” Sixth question. ”If I do other people favors, why should I not demand remuneration?” Answer to the first question. The Judge answered: ”Friend, ugly and beautiful in the world are like bitter and sweet. Ugliness of the world, which is adversity and contempt of the world, is like a kind of …More
The Christmas Eve homily of Cardinal Louis Raphaël Sako of Baghdad, delivered at the Chaldean Cathedral of St. Joseph, sparked major controversy in Iraq. He said: “There is talk about normalization, and I hope from the new government that normalization in Iraq and with Iraq will take place. Iraq is the land of the prophets. Just as the Talmud was written in Babylon, the world should come to Iraq, not elsewhere.” The phrase was quickly interpreted by some Iraqi media and politicians as advocating normalization of relations with Israel. The Eucharistic celebration was attended by Iraq’s Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, who later commented on the homily, saying: “In Iraq, we do not need normalization; rather, we need brotherhood, love, and coexistence”. He added that “normalization” in Iraq’s context was linked to an “occupying entity,” referring to Israel. Iraq’s parliament passed a law in 2022 that makes it a criminal offense to normalize ties with the Israeli state — …More
