Cardinal Robert Sarah delivered a series of talks and homilies on liturgy and sacred music in the U.S. from November 21 to 23, as reported by NCRegister.com on January 3. His main points: - For decades, the Church’s liturgy has "too often been instrumentalized" and has become increasingly politicized. - Church hierarchy has "persecuted and excluded" those who have rightly called attention to liturgical abuses. - "The liturgy is not something that you or I can make up or change, even if we think we are experts—or even if we are bishops. We must be humble before the sacred liturgy, as it has been handed down to us through the Church’s tradition." - It is "even scandalous at times" to sing or play music in churches that is neither liturgical nor sacred. - Quoting Benedict XVI: "As far as the liturgy is concerned, we cannot say that one song is as good as another." - Different kinds of music belong in different places. Liturgical music is set apart exclusively for the worship of God. - …More
1 John 4:7-10 "Love is of God." Let us meditate on this for just one week. Love, joy, and peace comes from God; they are God. Mark 6:34-44 Let us note that the first nourishment Jesus gives, is teaching. Now, everything we say and everything others say to us is teaching. Let us carefully examine the words we speak and hear. Let us adjust them positively and realistically. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.

She can send dozens of reports. Someone recently went to the W.H. and was explaining to trump how dangerous it was. His faces hem made made me sick. He didn't care to hear it at all. Just a wasted of time like everything else given to him.
“The normative elevation of the traditional family, as practiced by the Catholic Church, leads to discrimination against believers who do not live that way,” German Jesuit Klaus Mertes told Zeit.de on December 25. Fr. Mertes became widely known in 2010 as a propagandist for the public handling of clerical homosexual-abuse cases involving male victims within Church institutions in Germany. In the interview, Fr. Mertes warned that the Catholic Church must be vigilant about how the “traditional family” model it explicitly favors can be politically instrumentalized. “The Catholic Church has to be careful that the classical image of the family, which it openly promotes, is not politically misused,” he said. “This keeps happening, and that is a problem.” The Jesuit is a homosexual activist. In several articles over the past decade, he has criticized what he calls "homophobia" within the Church and urged Catholics to “fight for the rights of homosexuals,” arguing that the Church’s prevailing …More
Sunday (1/4/25) we actually offered the prayers after Mass for Russia! Leaving two video's. One of Bishop Sheen. The other about Saints and the Three Days of Darkness and Pope Pius Vll. The Russian People' Presenting some of Bishop Sheen's personally philosophical and prophetic accounts with some great 19th Century writers like Dostoevsky and GK Chesterton. Some of Dostoevsky's 'prophecies' are profoundly revealed in today's enslaved 'free world' Think about it, only 3% out of over 200,000,000 Russians! And about half of the 3% were brought into Russia! I think if Bishop Sheen were alive today, he would be happy to see Russia as she is. But extremely sad over the rest of the world and how they got away from GOD. Several of our Popes loved Russians very much. They tried to mend the Church's. And tried to work together. But unfortunately things never worked out because it was not her time. BEFORE YOU ENTER THAT MARRIAGE, READ THIS You’re in love. You’ve prayed. You’ve found “the one.” And now, you can’t wait to walk down the aisle. That’s beautiful. Truly beautiful. But before you enter that marriage, pause… and ask yourself: “Is this union valid in the eyes of the Church?” Because in the Catholic Church, not every relationship, no matter how emotional or romantic, can become a sacramental marriage. There are things called impedimentis, spiritual and canonical walls that can make a marriage invalid even if both parties love each other deeply. Let’s walk through them carefully. 1. Already Married to Someone Else (Prior Bond) You cannot marry someone who is already bound by a valid marriage. Love cannot erase a sacrament. Even if the civil court grants a divorce, the Church still recognizes the first valid bond, unless it’s annulled. (Canon 1085) 2. Holy Orders or Religious Vows A priest, deacon, or religious bound by solemn vows cannot marry. He has already given his …More
05.01.2025 HOW CAN CARDINALS MCELROY AND RADCLIFFE PARTICIPATE IN THE CONSISTORY ? : VATICAN COUNCIL II RATIONAL IS TRADITIONAL AND OPPOSED TO LGBT IDEOLOGY How can cardinals McElroy and Radcliffe participate in the Consistory when Vatican Council II rational, is ecclesiocentric and supports traditional faith and morals, opposed to LGBT ideology? They must recant or resign. Since they are not doing either there must be an institutional process to check them. With the discovery that ‘the red is not an exception for the blue’, Vatican Council II is no more ‘a revolution’ or a ‘new revelation’ in the Catholic Church. The Church has moved forward since 1965. The interpretation of Vatican Council II by Pope Paul VI to Pope Leo XIV and that of Rahner, Ratzinger, Congar, Lubac, Lehmann, Kung, Guardini and Lefebvre was schismatic. We now have a non schismatic, option, which is rational, traditional and ecclesiocentric. They used the False Premise which created schism. We avoid the False …More

Lexington’s Bishop Stowe on Venezuela: “I lament how the Pope’s words for January 1, the World Day of Prayer for Peace, in which he reiterated the call for an ‘unarmed and disarming peace’ were completely ignored by the US administration in pursuit of its own ill-defined goals and with reckless disregard for human life and rule of law.”

Legendary clip… "To those who say that the United States is only interested in our oil, I ask those people: What do you think the Russians and the Chinese wanted… The recipe for Arepas?"
The Russians and Chinese know how to get along with others. They do not take. It's called trading. They buy what each has for their needs. America takes and takes and takes. And they bomb and kill for it. Criminals all of them. From trump down. Every last one of them. This person needs to learn a bit about that sort of things. You don't see Russia or China bombing anyone for oil or their rare earths and minerals etc. They bargain and they trade with each other. However, there are some people who believe Russia and China shouldn't be allowed to work with others. They rather see them destroyed. Jealously would do that to a person I guess.
«There is a form of liturgical reductionism that the most zealous defenders of contemporary Catholicism often fall into. “It is still valid,” they assert, while ignoring that with each detail of the Church’s worship carried out sloppily or without care, a disease spreads among the faithful. The liturgy is not a sacrament machine, and the Mass is not a meal. For generations of medieval Catholics, who often received the Eucharist only once a year yet commonly and voluntarily attended Mass daily, this was clear. Every rubric of this most sacred worship mattered, consecration and communication alike. God deserves our very best. More than those in our romantic lives. More than those in our family lives. Certainly more than those in our professional lives. These loves are not in competition, nor are they opposed to love of God, and they deserve sincere devotion. But one love stands above all others, surpassing and enlivening them.... The rail slows us down. It stills the body. It grants the …More
