The cause for canonization of Archbishop fulton Sheen is steadily advancing. Fr. Andrew Apostoli a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal in New York says he knows of 4 miracle intercession claims for Archbishop Sheen and Fr. Ambrosi who has worked on hundreds of sainthood causes including Pope John XXIII says he's early in the stages of investigating 2 miracle claims for Archbishop Sheen!
Sheen is a pretty good guy. I have very few disagreements with him theologically, and at the end he nailed it with the homosexual problem in seminaries, if we had listened then we might not have so many legal and financial problems, but the church did not, so they pay the pipper.

I remember when Fr. John Hardon visited with Archbishop Fulton Sheen, and Bishop Sheen was showing Fr. Hardon around his residence; when arriving to Sheen's personal chapel with the Blessed Sacrament on the altar, Bishop Sheen said to Fr. Hardon, "this is where I do most my work." To which Fr. Hardon replied, "This is where I do my BEST work."

I love that sequence, I have to say I usually start in reparation with my prayers. (Figgure I gotta tell the boss I am sorry for all the mistakes I made in the day.)
