Las Posadas: from December 16-24 Las Posadas originated in colonial Mexico. The Augustinian friars of San Agustin de Acolman, near Mexico City, are believed to have organized the first posadas. In 1586, Friar Diego de Soria, the Augustinian prior, obtained a papal bull from Pope Sixtus V to celebrate what was called ‘Misas de Aguinaldo’ or ‘Christmas bonus masses’ between December 16 and 24. The tradition seems to be one of many examples of how the Catholic religion in Mexico was adapted to make it easier for the indigenous people to understand and blend with their earlier beliefs. The Aztecs had a tradition of honoring their god Huitzilopochtli at the same time of year, coinciding with the winter solstice. The Posada celebrations were originally held in the church but the custom spread. Later it was celebrated in haciendas, and then in family homes, gradually taking the form of the celebration as it is now practiced by the time of the 19th century. Now, neighborhood committees often …More

VACCINE INC. by every standard have been exposed through multitudes of evidence to be of the most egregious and reprehensible deceptions which ensnare the multitudes of populations world-wide thoroughly seducing people by means of psychological mind manipulations which are dangerous because vaccines harm and hurt the health of so many people and are known to cause deaths even though the evidence is denied by VACCINE INC. . . The truth about the VACCINE Industry amounts to what should be assessed as VACCCINE crimes against humanity.

Firing Tucho is a benchmark for Leo XIV: New York canon lawyer and priest Gerald Murray is urging Pope Leo XIV to remove Cardinal Víctor “Tucho” Fernández as prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. Speaking with journalist Raymond Arroyo, Rev Murray called Fernández’s recently resurfaced pornographic writings “a total disgrace” and “a horrendous production done by a priest”. Tucho is “completely unsuited to be a pastor of souls”. Rev Murray recalled that Pope Francis justified Tucho’s earlier books as writings of a younger priest. However, the newly revealed books were written until 2009, when Tucho was aged 46: “If we were doing a profile, a criminal profile, about a sex abuser, and I’m not saying he is a sex abuser, but if you saw this literature coming out and you would say to yourself, ‘Well, it’s quite clear that the sex abuser got started a long time ago.’” The conclusion: “He should be fired.” And: “This is going to be a benchmark for Pope Leo XIV. THE SANHEDRIN EMBASSY Fray Justo Pérez de Urbel Third Sunday of Advent The Baptist continues to fulfill his job as a pioneer, straightening the crooked paths and opening his hearts to the approaching light. It fulminates, exhorts, comforts and baptizes. They have not yet chained their hands or locked their voice between the walls of a basement. He lives on the banks of the Jordan, not far from Jericho, next to the entrance to the desert, where he has spent the years of his youth in mortification and fasting. But now the loner has become a director of men, the silent inhabitant of the jungle into a possible leader of villages. In all of Palestine there is only talk of his appearance. Up there, the fishermen of the lake entertain the forced waits of their office by repeating the words of the penitent; the pious Israelites begin to see in him a joyful hope, and even in the National Council of Israel, in the Sanhedrin, the Scriptures are stirred to look for some luminous text referring to …More
Book of Zephaniah 3,1-2.9-13. Thus says the Lord: "Woe to the city, rebellious and polluted, to the tyrannical city! She hears no voice, accepts no correction; In the LORD she has not trusted, to her God she has not drawn near. For then I will change and purify the lips of the peoples, That they all may call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one accord; From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia and as far as the recesses of the North, they shall bring me offerings. On that day You need not be ashamed of all your deeds, your rebellious actions against me; For then will I remove from your midst the proud braggarts, And you shall no longer exalt yourself on my holy mountain. But I will leave as a remnant in your midst a people humble and lowly, Who shall take refuge in the name of the LORD; the remnant of Israel. They shall do no wrong and speak no lies; Nor shall there be found in their mouths a deceitful tongue; They shall pasture and couch their flocks with none to disturb them. …More
It was “not so good” that Pope Francis had suppressed the traditional Roman Mass "in an authoritarian way," Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller said in an interview with journalist Michael Haynes. Pope Francis, Cardinal Müller said, had been "hurting and committing an injustice by accusing everyone who loves the older form of the rite of being against the Second Vatican Council in a general way, without any differentiating justice to single persons." The cardinal criticized what he sees as a double standard in the Vatican’s emphasis on dialogue and respect: "All the time they speak about dialogue and respect for other persons. When it comes to the homosexual agenda and gender ideology, they speak about respect—but toward their own people, they have no respect," he said. Cardinal Müller emphasized that the Church is like a family called to overcome internal tensions like brothers: "We do not have a police-state system in the Church, and we do not need one." And: "The Pope and the bishops …More
@amuse @amuse LAWFARE: Big Fani might have a heft legal bill coming due as President Trump and his fellow 18 defendants are able to recover their legal fees from her Fulton County office. Georgia’s November 26 dismissal triggered a 2025 state statute allowing Donald Trump to reclaim $5–10 million in fees from Fani Willis’s office after she was disqualified for an improper relationship with a special prosecutor. The Georgia Supreme Court removed her permanently in September, opening the door for all 19 defendants to file similar reimbursement claims. The total cost could dwarf Trump’s alone and stands as a humiliating rebuke of Willis’s partisan prosecution. The blowback is now financial as well as legal.
Blessed János Brenner: The “Hungarian Tarcisius” | Young Priest & Martyr for the Eucharist Blessed János Brenner (1931–1957) was a young Hungarian Cistercian priest and martyr whose short life shone with extraordinary love for Jesus and the Eucharist. Ordained at just 24, he became known for his joyful youth ministry, drawing many young people back to the faith during a time of harsh communist persecution in Hungary. Because his ministry threatened the authorities, János was targeted. In 1957, he was deceived by a false request to bring Holy Communion to a sick person. On his way through the woods, he was ambushed and stabbed 32 times. He was found the next day, dead — still clutching the Eucharist he had been carrying to the supposed dying person. For this reason, he is lovingly called the “Hungarian Tarcisius,” after the early Christian martyr who died protecting the Blessed Sacrament. Beatified by Pope Francis in 2018, Blessed János is a powerful witness to courage, purity of …More
