Rhemes, that was a nice read..just a little to share also. We had a very good friend who was dying of cancer. We are godparents of her daughter. She rec'd permission to have her daughter receive her 1st Communion a few months early so she (mother) would be allowed to witness it. Before Mass, the ambulance had to wheel my friend in the church on a bed carrier. She couldn't have weighed more than 85 lbs. RHEMES, in our home we have a 1st class relic of her and it is placed by Our crucified Lord. Also, we have 1st class relics of St. Therese (the little flower), St. Ann (Mother of Our Lady), ST. Anthony of Padua, and St. Thomas Aquinas.

It is quite sad that there are people who have such relics who do not put them out for people to venerate. Rather, some have them stored in a drawer or just laid on something without its reliquary.
