(LifeSiteNews) — The Presentation is one of the minor solemnities of Our Lady, and was inscribed at a comparatively late date on the sacred cycle; it seems to court the homage of our silent contemplation. The world, unknown to itself, is ruled by the secret prayers of the just; and the queen of saints, in her hidden mysteries, wrought far more powerfully than the so-called great men, whose noisy achievements fill the annals of the human race. The East had been celebrating for seven centuries at least (Pitra, Analecta sacra Spicilegio Solesmensi parata i, 275) the Menæa, ad. diem hanc.) when in 1372 Gregory XI permitted it to be kept for the first time (Le Blant, No. 542 “Inscriptions chrétiennes de la Gaule”) by the Roman court at Avignon. Mary in return broke the chains of captivity that had bound the papacy for 70 years; and soon the successor of St. Peter returned to Rome. The feast of the Visitation, as we saw on July 2 In 1373, following the example of the sovereign pontiff, …
The Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Madrid has opened a preliminary investigation into Bishop José Ignacio Munilla of the Diocese of Orihuela-Alicante for alleged hate offenses against homosexuals, Spanish media report. The citizen platform “Tu Pueblo y el Mío” filed the complaint. It focuses on comments that Munilla made on May 3 during a Radio María broadcast. He noted that psychologists who support individuals with unwanted homosexual inclinations are "threatened" when their work is interpreted as an attempt at "change." The bishop added that guidance toward a life of chastity is now considered prohibited "conversion therapy." Spain has banned conversion therapy nationwide since 2023. The platform argues that Munilla’s remarks go beyond what is protected by freedom of religion or expression and constitute a call for discrimination. In response, Bishop Munilla wrote on social media that he has not been notified of any investigation. This is an attempt to intimidate the Church …More
Norwegian bishop Erik Varden spoke to 'Communio' magazine on November 19 about personal experiences. Key quotes from this wonderful interview – including wishful thinking. - I am not convinced by the sociological data on religion, which suggests that religious indifference is on the rise. - I have the utmost respect for the Pew Research Centre, but I must say that, purely empirically, the statement does not correspond with my own observations. - The trend is clear and growing steadily: young people long for substance. I see them faithfully attending well-prepared and carefully designed Eucharists. - What I am witnessing is a new search for meaning, for criteria, for community, for truth. - In Scandinavia, secularisation has now come to an end. Quite simply because there is actually nothing left to secularise. - The fact that human beings somehow carry a desire for the limitless within themselves is also evident in a very secular discourse, most recently in transhumanism. - When confronted …More
Wall Street Apes @WallStreetApes Now we know why Qatar is lobbying Congress, paying off American Universities and funding building mosques in America “The Qatari regime has a bayah. A bayah in Islam is a spiritual oath to the Muslim Brotherhood. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who was the spiritual head of the Brotherhood for many years — This character was welcomed by the British establishment and he helped to create, he was the founding director of Islamic studies at Oxford University. Welcomed into the upper echelons of the British establishment. So is it any wonder that Middle East studies at Oxford or Islamic studies at Oxford, these very important institutions, are turning out apologists for the Muslim Brotherhood, apologists for Hamas, apologists for the Iranian revolutionary regime at places like Oxford, at Yale, and other centers? We estimate that they're playing with over a trillion dollars in assets to invest in Western institutions to influence Western society.”
Pope Leo XIV has appointed Bishop Stephen Andrew Hero, 55, as the new Metropolitan Archbishop of Edmonton, Canada. He previously served as Bishop of Prince Albert. Born on December 19, 1969, in Montréal, he was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Edmonton in 2000. In 2021, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Prince Albert. Inculturation of Mother-Earth Indigenous Rituals In May 2025, the Catholic Bishops of Saskatchewan – including Bishop Hero – issued a directive on “Liturgy and Inculturation for Indigenous and Métis Celebrations.” It allows drums to be used during the Eucharist with guidance from an Elder. In Indigenous natural religion, drums are considered sacred because the drumbeat symbolizes the heartbeat of “Mother Earth.” Furthermore, the directive allows sweetgrass or sage to be used in place of incense during the Eucharist. Sweetgrass is often referred to as the “hair of Mother Earth” and is therefore regarded as sacred. The indigenious ritual of "Smudging" is also …More
A Not-So-Subtle Wake-Up Call from Christ the King The image atop this post is one that we used at the end of my post, “ The God of the Living and the Life of the Dead.” It was written for All Souls Day which just happened to fall in 2020 just days before the most contentious and bitterly divided U.S. election in decades. Its echoes of civil unrest reverberated out of America to circle the globe. So we are using the image again and reposting the link because in the heat of battle a lot of readers missed that post. The image is a powerful one of Christ leading prisoners through the gates of Dachau — or is it Purgatory? It is a hopeful image, and one that reflects the Mind of God as revealed by the Prophet Ezekiel at Mass on the Solemnity of Christ the King: — That describes the Mission of the Church as well, or at least what it should be. I recently received a message from a lawyer who asked if I would be willing to talk with a young priest who has had a catastrophic and very public …
The US WAS giving intel to Ukraine to bomb airports, civilian trains, bridges, hospitals, apartment buildings and the school(s) etc. Don't expect them to give up so easily. Don't think this will all come to an end. The US and nato can't lose face totally. There are worse plans in the making.
Jim Ferguson @JimFergusonUK MUSK EXPOSES THE SOROS HACK Elon Musk just broke down how George Soros turned philanthropy into one of the most powerful profit-and-control rackets in modern history. On The Joe Rogan Experience, Musk explained: “Soros is like a system hacker — a genius at arbitrage. He figured out how to take a $10 million ‘donation’ and turn it into a billion-dollar NGO.” Here’s how the scheme works : 1) Seed money: Soros sets up a “non-profit” with a small initial investment. 2) Lobbying: That NGO then pressures politicians to send it massive government grants. 3) Payback loop: Taxpayers end up funding their own destruction — money flows from the public treasury into Soros-aligned organizations pushing his ideology. 4) Perpetual motion: The NGO gets locked in for annual funding, hidden under “humanitarian” or “democracy” budgets. Musk called it exactly what it is — “a graft machine.” Think about it: The Institute for Peace that fuels wars. The Open Society that …More
“It was another glorious victory for the champions of liberty, equality, and fraternity. Yet Freemasonry had only killed a messenger; they were powerless against the message, and they knew it. @petrus100452... The Archdiocese of Gwangju investigated and declared in 1998 that the events lacked evidence of supernatural origin. Korean bishops have consistently warned against promoting devotion to Naju, citing risks of schism and unauthorized sacramental activity. Automatic excommunication was decreed for clergy or laity participating in sacraments at the Naju shrine without approval
@chris griffin Our Lady in Naju (apparitions to Julia Kim) July 18, 1985:"Prevent abortions (by prayer) and pray for those who carry out abortions." November 5, 1986:"Help me. I cannot appease God the Father's anger without your help. Can you participate in my sufferings? Because of birth control and abortions, I feel extreme pains in my womb. Little lives are roaming about in limbo after having been deprived of their human dignity and treated only as a lump of bloody flesh" July 15, 1987: "My heart is broken because of the unlimited birth control. Did Trump bomb Iran because Israel threatened to nuke them? I would love to know why he prevent it? (Could it be he didn't want us to know Israel DOES have nuclear weapons?) The war could have been avoided but for the demon-possessed Putin attacking a sovereign nation and personally overseeing the murder of about a million people who are just defending their homeland.
Don Maurizio Gronchi, a consultant to the Vatican Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, told AciPrensa.com on 18 November that the drafting of Tucho’s recent document Mater Populi Fidelis against the title Co-Redemptrix had a striking feature. Don Gronchi co-presented the document alongside Tucho and is an enemy of the title. The Dicastery's work has historically been 'collegial'. For each topic studied, the Dicastery draws on the input of internal consultants, external experts and other sources. However, in the case of this document on Marian titles, "no collaborating Mariologists could be found", according to Don Gronchi. He pointed out that neither the faculty of the Marianum nor the Pontifical International Marian Academy participated in the presentation of the document. In his opinion, this can be interpreted as a “silence” that “can be understood as dissent”. Picture: Infovaticana, #newsEjbrmvmlnm
