Leo XIV has omitted the Filioque clause in the Creed in September and during his actual visit in Turkey. Historical backgrounds. Following the ancient Latin and Alexandrian tradition, the Western Church Fathers like Pope Leo I, Augustine, and Ambrose always confessed and explained the filioque. The biggest disbute over the filioque was at the Council of Florence (1438–39). There, the Latins cited the numerous Greek Fathers to demonstrate that they also believed that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. The leader of the opposing Greek delegation was Archbishop Mark Eugenikos of Ephesus. He maintained the heresy that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father alone. His side accepted the phrase “through the Son” only in the sense of manifestation, not origin. A turning point of the council came when Johannes von Ragusa showed an ancient codex brought from Constantinople by the philosopher–cardinal Nicholas of Cusa. It contained Basil the Great’s Against Eunomius (…More

29.11.2025 SALVINI, FONTANA AND VANNUCCI WITHOUT MELLONI MAKE THE CHURCH TRADITIONAL WITH VATICAN COUNCIL II (RATIONAL) With Vatican Council II rational, the Catholic Church and the right wing political parties are aligned. With Vatican Council II irrational, the Catholic Church and the left wing political parties are aligned. With Vatican Council II, rational, the de fide teachings of the Church-before and after Vatican Council II-support the Proclamation of the Social Reign of Christ the King in all politics. Christ must be King in society, in politics and the legislature of Parlament in Italy. We follow the teachings of the Catholic Church which have not changed since the times of the Apostles to today ( 2025). The main line Catholic Church returns to Tradition, without the political left. Just as it is a priority for the Italians to be given employment instead of non Italian foreigners , in the same Vatican Council II interpreted only rationally must be a priority. Leo XIV Declined "Offer" to Pray in Blue Mosque: This morning, Pope Leo XIV visited Istanbul's Blue Mosque. He bowed slightly and removed his shoes before entering. Turkish civil and religious authorities led him on a cultural tour of the expansive complex. According to CatholicNewsAgency.com, the mosque's muezzin, Aşgın Musa Tunca, told journalists after the visit that he had offered Pope Leo XIV the opportunity to pray. However, Leo XIV declined politely. Both Benedict XVI (in 2006) and Francis (in 2014) paused in silent prayer inside the same mosque.

Luke 4:6-8 : “And the devil said to Him, ‘I will give You all the power and glory of these kingdoms, for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. If you worship me, it will all be yours.’ Jesus replied, ‘It is written: You shall worship the Lord your God and him alone shall you serve.’”
Leo XIV honors the secularist Atatürk: On 27 November, Pope Leo XIV visited the Anıtkabir mausoleum in Ankara, the tomb of Kemal Atatürk (1881–1938). He took part in an official wreath-laying ceremony — a symbolic tribute to the founder and first president of modern Turkey. Yet Atatürk is not someone a Pope should honour. He dismantled the Ottoman millet system, where religious communities governed themselves, and imposed a top-down secularism designed to control religious authority and reorder a post-imperial, non-Christian society. By the time he came to power, most Christian communities — Armenians, Greek Orthodox and Syriac Christians — had already been killed or displaced. But under his leadership, the 1923 population exchange forced around 1.2 million Greek Orthodox Christians out of the country, effectively completing the disappearance of Christians from Turkey.

Welcome to the "errors of Russia" no spin zone! I will always try to give you up to date information on our spiritual and mortal enemies. Remember as Pope Pius XI wrote, "In fact, the most persistent enemies of the Church, who from Moscow are directing the struggle against Christian civilization, themselves bear witness, by their unceasing attacks in word and act, that even to this hour..." This is authentic Catholic teaching!
Justin Bronk from the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) Bronk summarized with these points: 1) This document is signed off by two leaders who like ruling as absolutists!...at the stroke of a pen which isn’t within their legal powers. In fact, it appears that Trump is negotiating with Russia AGAINST its allies. Trump has had this position from the outset—“you don’t have any cards,” referring to Zelensky. 2) “Does anyone think that Russia, after having lost 1.3 million casualties of all types, expended enormous amounts of military munitions, missiles and equipment, and having had its military humiliated, is going to be content with this temporary treaty? Do we believe that? He says that anyone who believes that needs to go and watch Russian state television for a while, but in Russian! They will quickly see what Russian intentions really are. There are plenty of good translation tools out there. “Which European city are we going to burn next, and which country shall we teach a …More
Today, at the site of ancient Nicaea, Pope Leo XIV joined around 27 other leaders of Christian communities to commemorate the 1700 anniversary of the first Council. Leo XIV thanked the Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, for his "great wisdom and foresight" in calling for Church leaders to celebrate this important anniversary together. However, Patriarch Kyrill of Moscow was not invited to the ecumenical prayer. Cardinal Kurt Koch told CruxNow.com ahead of the liturgy: "The Catholics have invited Catholics and the Orthodox invite Orthodox". He added that he respects the "decision of the Orthodox" not to invite the world’s largest Orthodox group. Picture: VaticanNews.va, #newsYaitxdonvz
No surprise since the so-called "new Rome" of Constantinople has been at loggerheads with the self-styled "third Rome" of Moscow for centuries. Currently a flashpoint - Ukraine.
[Saint Teresa of Avila XVI Century AD; Avila, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy/Alba de Tormes, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy; Aged 67; Virgin; Doctor of the Church; Mystic; Writer; Reformer] “PREFACE THIS TREATISE, STYLED THE INTERIOR CASTLE, WAS WRITTEN BY TERESA OF JESUS, NUN OF OUR LADY OF CARMEL, FOR HER SISTERS AND DAUGHTERS, THE DISCALCED CARMELITE NUNS. RARELY has obedience laid upon me so difficult a task as this of writing about prayer; for one reason, because I do not feel that God has given me either the power or the desire for it, besides which, during the last three months I have suffered from noises and a great weakness in my head that have made it painful for me to write even on necessary business. However, as I know the power obedience has of making things easy which seem impossible, my will submits with a good grace, although nature seems greatly distressed, for God has not given me such strength as to bear, without repugnance, the constant struggle against …More
Great humility of St. Teresa of Avila: 'He who bids me write this, tells me that the nuns of these convents of our Lady of Carmel need someone to solve their difficulties about prayer: he thinks that women understand one another’s language best and that my sisters’ affection for me would make them pay special attention to my words, therefore it is important for me to explain the subject clearly to them. Thus I am writing only to my sisters; the idea that anyone else could benefit by what I say would be absurd.
