Boy Plunges to His Death: On Friday afternoon, 14-year-old Charlie Paterson plunged from a chute on the top floor of the 19-story block where he lived in east London. He crashed through a ceiling and onto a concrete floor and was killed. The former choirboy and pupil at Bishop Challoner Catholic School lived on the third floor of the block. Police are treating the death as unexplained but not suspicious.
