Key cost pressures continue to grow. Personnel expenses increased steadily from €158 million (2022) to €175.4 million (2024) despite stated containment efforts. Real-estate maintenance costs jumped from €13.2 million to €24.2 million in one year, without a matching rise in property income. Isn't what's needed is a list of all non-believing popes, cardinals, archbishops, bishops, religious order heads, major theologians, etc., from 1930 (when the plan to seize the Church supposedly started) to the present (preferably in reverse order). Surely there is a group of believing theology professors with trusted masters and PhD students who could produce the list relatively quickly if a rich layman would agree to cover the costs and any legal consequences.
