Pope Francis hosts Argentine Jewish leaders for kosher lunch

ROME – A delegation of 15 Argentine Jewish leaders was hosted Thursday for an informal kosher lunch at the Vatican’s Santa Marta guesthouse by Pope Francis.

Latin American Jewish Congress Executive Director Claudio Epelman, who organized the meeting together with Argentine Rabbi Abraham Skorka, said it was an “extraordinary gesture by Pope Francis to take more than two hours out of his busy schedule for a conversation with Jewish leaders from his native Argentina.” Epelman said that the conversations with the Catholic pontiff focused on strengthening inter-faith dialogue.

Now I get it. Use of the small table is contrived. It makes for a better group photo for the press. The longer table in the background wouldn't have been as cozy. Personally, I'd use the longer table. I wouldn't want to be so close to this bunch and I hope Lombardi counted the silverware before they left.

Who's in charge of planning? They've got a pontifical committee for nearly everything, why not have one for "How to host the Jews"?
Couldn't they have found a larger table or put 2 smaller tables together so that all the weasels would have a little room? And what's up with the guy not wearing his beanie? Throw 'em out.

There is in Argentina a new scandal a Priest 'Father' Ignacio Peries Kurukulasuriya an close friend of Francis Bergolio who recently promote in a tv program homosexuality and gay adoption and this priest visit Francis on Nov 1 . The Scandals start this month and Francis REMAINS ON SILENCE His Bishop monseñor José Luis Molaghan only wrote a letter said that he don't endorse that program.
