Strongly disagree Father! Your counsel in responding to the person who can no longer

My requirements for attending a mass are the following:
1. is there an altar present with the tabernacle at the center?
2. are there statues and crucifix present?
3. is liturgy concelebrated with another priest?
4. are Eucharistic ministers, altar girls, and female lecturns present?
5. do lay people present the gifts?
6. is music appropriate for mass?
If any of these requirements are present then I deem it to be nothing more than a protestant service. There are traditional chapels all over the USA and Canada. I know people who drive over an hour to attend.

Abramo,
Do NOT become a sedevacantist. It is a ridiculous position.

Father, you are a great homilist!
However, if this homily would have been followed in the times of the Reformation, most of us would have become Protestants. The problem in following the "legitimate authority" of the Church is, that this "authority" has fallen apart and that it, in so very many places, gives room to the illegitimate authority of the devil.More
