Jesus drives out the Money-changers.

"And Jesus entered the temple of God and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. He said to them, "It is written, `My house shall be called a house of prayer'; but you make it a den of robbers." And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them." – Matt 21:12-14. In St Matthew's Gospel, right after Jesus enters Jerusalem in triumph, which we recalled yesterday on Palm Sunday, Jesus goes to the Temple to restore it to prayer and works of justice and healing. So, too, as we have welcomed Jesus into our hearts on Palm Sunday, may he cleanse us of avarice and greed, lust for money and commerce, and all sin that hinders us from worshiping God in spirit and in truth. This stained glass window is from St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh.
