St. Theresa of Avila emphasizes in her book "The Way of Perfection" that the graces of the Holy Spirit do not come in isolation. Rather if one grace is available to a person, all are. That is she says how one can discern a true calling. If one gets a hint of Fortitude without Holy Fear, Wisdom without Counsel, etc then something is suspect. So if you feel called to God's grace in His Church, don't forget the intellectual virtues.
