catholiccat you are correct, The Rolling Stones did write and sing this song. The song was inspired by Mick Jagger's then girlfriend Marianne Faithful who when she came out of a coma said to Mick that wild horses couldn't drag me away from you.

I think the Rolling Stones wrote and sang this song. I didn't understand the meaning of the lyrics then and I still don't. However Susan has a wonderful voice and cover of the song.
