May 2nd - Saint of the Day: Saint Antoninus of Florence, Archbishop & Dominican Friar Florence had wealth, power, politics, status, and scandal. Then came Saint Antoninus. A tiny Dominican friar with a giant soul, he became Archbishop of Florence and refused to live like a prince. He wore the Dominican habit, cared for plague victims, reformed corrupt clergy, challenged greed, and quietly helped the “hidden poor” who were too ashamed to beg. He was so wise that people called him the “Angel of Counsel.” Princes, priests, merchants, and ordinary Catholics came to him when life got morally messy. And his whole life can be summed up in one line: “To serve God is to reign.” That hits different in a world obsessed with clout, comfort, and control. Saint Antoninus reminds us that real power is holiness. Real leadership is service. Real wealth is mercy. And real freedom begins when God gets the throne back. John Kerry at the WEF just said the quiet part out loud: "Our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to hammer "disinformation" out of existence... We need to win the right to govern so we’re free to implement change." They don’t want to debate ideas. They want to delete them.

The Institute of the Good Shepherd has been working in the Archdiocese of Warsaw for 10 years. Archbishop Filipazzi is a papal loyalist. 'It is granted to few to recognize the true Church amid the darkness of so many schisms and heresies, and to fewer still so to love the truth which they have seen as to fly to its embrace.' St. Robert Bellarmine, Doctor of the Church 'Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, Nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God.' 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 'Yes, indeed, many will be damned; few will be saved.' St. Benedict Joseph Labre 'The path to Heaven is narrow, rough and full of wearisome and trying ascents, nor can it be trodden without great toil; and therefore wrong is their way, gross their error, and assured their ruin who, after the testimony of so many thousands of saints, will not learn where to settle their footing.' St. Robert Southwell 'I fear that Last Day, that day of tribulation and anguish …More

Maxpein @maximumpain333 Scientists hooked electrodes up to Tibetan monks during deep meditation — expecting to see relaxed, quiet brain activity. What they recorded instead stopped them cold. Gamma waves. At amplitudes never measured in any normal human brain before. Levels so high that researchers hadn't even considered them possible to sustain in a conscious person. These monks weren't just calm. Their brains were operating on a frequency that didn't exist in scientific literature until that moment. But here's the part that should make you stop scrolling. These monks weren't doing anything new. The practices they were using — the specific meditation techniques, the concentrated attention, the precise mental training — were thousands of years old. Passed down through lineages that stretch back further than most recorded history. Tibetan Buddhist traditions had been deliberately training the mind this way for centuries before a single neuroscientist existed on this planet. They didn't …More

Another day, another stabbing in Barcelona. Today’s attack happened in the busy Plaça Catalunya. An innocent person walking through the square was stabbed and left fighting for their life. Spain is rapidly becoming unrecognizable, but sadly, this is what they voted for.
The earliest Hermits fled, not just from the world but from ecclesiastical office. They refused ordination, just as they (slightly later) refused admission to the monastic state. Their, more or less forced, integration into the ecclesiastical structure was imposed upon them. One can but presume that they were fully aware of their anomalous position within the Eucharistic Community, but chose to live with it. The Communion that they sought did not require physical participation in the Divine Liturgy, or the physical reception of Communion.
Deacon Lance Patrick C. Enad has been ordained to the Holy Priesthood! Yesterday, 2 May 2026, marked a truly grace-filled and historic moment in the Diocese of Maasin, as the ordination took place at the cathedral and national shrine of Our Lady of the Assumption. The sacred rite was presided over by His Excellency, the Most Reverend Athanasius Schneider.
Common sense should dictate: in embracing the (hijacked/false) Vatican II spirit, the Catholic Church has been slowly bleeding to death. Parishes everywhere are shutting down their Mass centers. Seminaries, convents and monasteries are being closed and sold off in public auctions. Our youth are being starved from want of solid direction and have been leaving the Church in droves. There is a crisis. And while the local church may still provide grace, Fr. Pagliarani's is correct, there is no guarantee given the change of theological direction and abuses allowed. Yes, Pope Boniface's 'Unam Sanctam' should be upheld - we must be subject to the divinly instituted authority of the Pope. However, in this unprecedented crisis where Leo XIV, on a personal level, is acting and directing in opposition to the formal teachings of 'the Pope', the 'Unam Sanctam' is not applicable; for we are not bound to follow a Pope's personal direction that moves contrary to what has always been formerly taught …More
