I do believe that the choice of a new Pope will entail looking in depth into his passed life. The cardinals will have to look at his life with a magnifying glass right from his infancy up until now. Therefore, I wonder if the conclave might take longer than we think. But at the end of the day and this I full heartedly hope is that all the attending cardinals listen to the Holy Ghost free of any ambition and earthly politics. And for this I personally pray.

The Pope Benedict XVI has always surprised me in a positive manner. Would I say less charismatic than John-Paul II certainly not but more discreet if you like. Even though disappointed by his resignation just before Lent, here is a man who has paved the way for sensible change within the Church. Here is a man who has dared to be outspoken. Before getting all hot and bothered about this, let's see what the Holy See has to say about the apparitions in Medjugorje at year end. Having been there and putting the visioniaries aside for a minute, I'm personally convinced that Medjugorje has graced thousands with true undisputable conversions. Am I somewhat sceptical about the state of mind of some of the visioniaries? Well personally the answer is yes. This being said I might be completely wrong. Take care and God bless.

Here we have an open-minded man but with solid Catholic convictions. A brave man who spoke his mind without being a slave to "political correctness" (yes political correctness is a term I truly dislike). A lot of wishy-washy politicians who delve into "political correctness" and "positif discrimination" should take a leaf from his book and as a result we might be living in a less confused and corrupt world.
He is after all the patron saint of statesmen and politicians.

This little film enticed me into reading further about this learned gentleman. As from the moment of meeting Our Lord and his wonderful conversion, he set himself into writing books solely concerning Christianity. A book I read in the passed and … [Altro]

I personally wrote to his Eminency in order to convey my concern about the style of the Western mass. I am happy that is has been called off because in my view it is improper to consume foods and drinks during mass. The only devine food and drink to be celebrated during the Holy Mass is that of the Holy Eucharist which embodies our Lord. I just couldn't imagine people munching away at their sandwiches and gulping down their beer during mass. Thanks to you all, his kind Eminency got the message.
