Maybe the allowance of married protestants to become Roman Rite priests didn't happen, but there have always been married priests in many of the other sui juris Catholic churches. In fact, in our Slovak Greek Catholic Church, the vast majority of secular clergy are married, though a few choose celibacy.
It is clear that monastics should not marry, as how could one give oneself completely to God if they have a spouse? But is there any reason why married men shouldn't be admitted to the secular … [Más]

Hmm... at the FSSP church, Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini, in Rome my friend tells me that two ladies regularly attend Mass with their purse sized dogs.
But, it is a bit much when dogs enter the sanctuary. But in most new churches there are neither altar rails with gates (for the Latins) nor iconostasis with doors (for the Greeks), so it presents a problem with controlling where dogs and laity might wander!

Gregg Cunningham will be visiting many countries in Europe during October to meet with pro-lifers interested in learning about and implementing CBRs strategy of using graphic abortion images to change public opinion about abortion. If you are interested in a new level of pro-life activism, please contact me and I can arrange for you to be at one of the meetings.

It would seem that some of the incorruptible saints have not had decay touch their bodies either, even though their bodies are quite dead. So that some liturgical text says "You [Father] would not allow decay to touch her body, for she had given birth to your Son, the Lord of Life, in the glory of the Incarnation." is not incompatible with her dying before the assumption.

Dakujem!
I live in Slovakia, and through marriage accepted the option to become Greek Catholic for how beautiful the liturgy is. I very much appreciate now that I have found your videos a place to get a sermon in English. At liturgy I manage to understand about 10% of the sermon, or what my wife decides to whisper to me in translation!
