There's a lot to be said for tradition. Why shouldn't GOD'S altar look fancy and special. I love the creativity. So many say it can't be done why try. This video shows us what can be done if you put your mind to it and are willing to invest a little time and energy.

I'm NOT surprised that the Catholic Church isn't following GOD'S LAWS that are found in the bible. If you've ever been to one of their services they have a tendency to pick and choose which verses of the bible text they read (like verses 1,4,7-10 selective reading). Today this church has made GOD proud of them. They are willing to stand up for what's right even if it's not a popular move. On the other hand, they just might be the leaders the rest of the world needs to see and follow (true Christians who lead by example). They could also be the ones that awake the sleeping majority that is unwilling to take a stand.

GOD has a way of making them pay for their sins. I can't tell you how many times I've seen and heard people complain about things that they themselves did and hated when they were younger. I would not be surprised to find out that some day in the future those cops and judical people that were so hard on the elderly and handicapped are one day put in the same situation. I wonder what kind of insurance covers this type of loss. I don't think it's a flood. Seems more like ICE STORM SURGE. We get WATER STORM SURGE from hurricanes here in Florida. Flood insurance covers that but I don't know about ice.

I keep saying ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS even to GOD. Although prayer is nice, sacrifice is even better. Do what you can to help your fellow man (love one another) and make that your prayer. I was in Australia about 10 years ago and couldn't believe it when I seen a church that was turned into a breakfast pancake house. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Australia is NOT the only place that's allowed churches (not just Catholic Churches) to be sold or forclosed and then used for other purposes. Sure looks like the pope's security has gotten a lot stricter. I wonder if he's getting a lot of hate mail or if it's just his security people trying to make their jobs a little easier. Can't say I blame them but I don't BELIEVE that's the way Christ would act or want his leaders to act.

You should see the statue the Americans gave France to put up in the Normandy World War II Memorial Cementary. Our tour guide said France didn't want to put it up but they wanted to thank America so they did it because they think we like it. The statue looks like some gay guy dancing around kind of nude. Sure wish I never went there to visit those heros. It makes me sick to think about it.
