Around 50 transgender-identifying people joined other vulnerable groups at a Vatican lunch for the Jubilee of the Poor on November 16. Invitations were distributed through charities, not targeted to any specific group. Priest Andrea Conocchia, known for ministry to LGBT people, praised the event as a sign of openness. Some activists, including Alessia Nobile, expressed gratitude, though a few were disappointed not to sit near Pope Leo XIV. Organizers said seating was random and some activists arrived late.
