Leo XIV Declined "Offer" to Pray in Blue Mosque: This morning, Pope Leo XIV visited Istanbul's Blue Mosque. He bowed slightly and removed his shoes before entering. Turkish civil and religious authorities led him on a cultural tour of the expansive complex. According to CatholicNewsAgency.com, the mosque's muezzin, Aşgın Musa Tunca, told journalists after the visit that he had offered Pope Leo XIV the opportunity to pray.
