Book of Numbers 24,2-7.15-17a. When Balaam raised his eyes and saw Israel encamped, tribe by tribe, the spirit of God came upon him, and he gave voice to his oracle: The utterance of Balaam, son of Beor, the utterance of the man whose eye is true, The utterance of one who hears what God says, and knows what the Most High knows, Of one who sees what the Almighty sees, enraptured, and with eyes unveiled: How goodly are your tents, O Jacob; your encampments, O Israel! They are like gardens beside a stream, like the cedars planted by the LORD. His wells shall yield free-flowing waters, he shall have the sea within reach; His king shall rise higher than. . . . and his royalty shall be exalted. Then Balaam gave voice to his oracle: The utterance of Balaam, son of Beor, the utterance of the man whose eye is true, The utterance of one who hears what God says, and knows what the Most High knows, Of one who sees what the Almighty sees, enraptured and with eyes unveiled. I see him, though not now …More
“I am a consecrated person; I gave my life to God, so my life doesn’t belong to me,” Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, told NCRegister.com on December 12 about his offer to exchange himself for hostages in 2023. His flock includes about 190,000 Christians in Israel, 45,000 in the West Bank, and 500 in Gaza. Palestinian Christians in the West Bank, including Bethlehem, have been severely affected by the Gaza war, as tourism has nearly collapsed and work permits to Israel have been suspended. “This created a very problematic situation from the economic point of view,” the Cardinal said. The conflict has also intensified tensions between Israelis and Palestinians in the West Bank, including settler attacks on Christian Palestinian communities. Cardinal Pizzaballa described the situation as “chaotic and very problematic,” adding: “What is scary for the people is that you don’t know how, when this will finish.” Despite this, he sees the U.S.-brokered ceasefire …More
There are many things to like and admire about this man. But, as in the American War of Northern Aggression (aka "the Civil War"), the battle for the Faith that continues and remains will see brother pitted against brother, friend against friend, neighbor against neighbor. There is no turning back from the battle between the Faith of 20 centuries and the counterfeit conciliar "church" of the past 60 years.+ Pizzaballa must see that if he doesn't get God right (and the mitered devotees of the past 60 years have gotten Him very wrong), all of humanity suffers.
God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen: The Christian Meaning Behind the Carol | Christmas Special Series “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen” is one of the oldest English Christmas carols, loved for its joyful message and strong biblical meaning. Although it wasn’t officially written by the Church, the lyrics beautifully reflect the heart of the Christian and Catholic faith — the Good News of Jesus Christ coming to save the world. This carol first appeared in the 16th or 17th century and was sung by ordinary believers, not choirs of trained musicians. It became popular because people wanted joyful, hope-filled songs in their own language, rather than the formal Latin hymns sung in churches. The message, however, is deeply traditional: Jesus was born to save us from sin, bring joy to the world, and conquer darkness. In this kid-friendly episode, children will learn: What “God rest ye merry” really means (hint: it’s not about taking a nap!) How the song celebrates the angel’s message in Luke …More
Cardinal Cobo Did Not Attend Homosexual Event because of "Ultra" Catholics: Sister María Luisa Berzosa, a religious sister in civilian clothes from the Daughters of Jesus, explained in a talk on November 26 for the Diocese of Teruel why Cardinal José Cobo didn’t attend a homosexual propaganda meeting in Madrid at the end of August. “Some ultras are going to come and disrupt the event, and the message will not get across,” Cardinal Cobo reportedly said. The cardinal, she said, met with the organisers ahead of the event and made clear that his absence was “not because of you”,
Spotlights are on the Vatican's Supreme Court, which will meet next January 9, in the afternoon, to decide whether to recuse the Promoter of Justice, Alessandro Diddi, and exclude him from the appeal for the so-called London Trial. The recusal is seen by all as a sort of test on the actual independence of the judging panel, and it was requested in September by the defendants' defenses when they raised Diddi's incompatibility due to a series of interceptions that emerged in the spring, revealing that, in the first instance, the then prosecutor was aware of the manipulations made by the main prosecution witness, Monsignor Alberto Perlasca. In practice, the messages (thousands of them) exchanged between PR Francesca Chaouqui and Genoveffa Ciferri weigh heavily, as the two women, amidst the complexities of this tangled affair, would have inspired at different levels the memoir drafted by Perlasca, the main accuser of Cardinal Becciu. In particular, according to the text of the recusal, …More

I watched that speech when he first made it. Than watched it one or two more times. It was a long speech. I remember in part of his speech he was talking about how one country I won't mention, and how they said that GOD was a woman. Then added But so far they are only thinking about. Then said right after that, GOD Forgive them, for they no not what they do. I cracked up over that. This speech was back in 2022 or 23. I believe.
Saint of the Day: Saint Virginia Centurione Bracelli- December 15 Saint Virginia Centurione Bracelli wasn’t a nun, a mystic, or a cloistered religious. Sounds good, but, in truth, she wasn't very effective when she was in power, albeit, she may have been set up to fail and was deep-sixed by her own party.
On 12 December, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow — a lesbian and a prominent progressive American voice — announced that she considers herself to have returned to the Catholic Church. She lives with an artist named Susan Mikula in a same-sex "marriage". According to TheLettersFromLeo.com, Maddow made these remarks during a question-and-answer session at a local event in Chicago. An audience member asked for her thoughts on the election of Pope Leo XIV. In her response, Maddow praised both Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV. The Church had just said goodbye to Pope Francis, when along came Pope Leo XIV, who shares Francis's passion for illegal immigrants. She said the timing was so perfect that it was "like it was just grown in a lab" against "cruelty to immigrants". Maddow was raised in a conservative Catholic family, but left the Church around 30 years ago for her homosexual lifestyle. Referring to her current outlook, she told the audience, "I do consider myself to be back in the faith". She …More
